The added extra costs for transport from the edge of the desert into the camp and the total cost meant we changed our plan from staying for 2 nights down to 1 night.

The peacefulness of the camp, the host, the cleanliness and interior decor. It was just as we hoped it would be!

This is just constructive ideas, it really is an awesome place to stay. Would be better a little deeper into the desert as we had people from nearby camp sites wandering past. The bed is extremely creaky and if you’re a restless sleeper the noise every time u move can be frustrating

The Dome is an awesome place to spend a night or 2, it’s extremely well equipped and looks amazing in the night with all the lights. Food was freshly cooked and delivered, very nice. Host family were lovely people and very helpful.

The host was lovely. Although there are many other camps in the area, the positioning of the domes give the impression of being alone. We had a great view of the sunset and night sky.

tourism, including locals on weekends, with buggies and jeeps riding the dunes, is pushing deeper into the desert. Our host is aware, also aware of increasing waste. He plans to move the domes in a year further into the desert, from a 10 minute to a 30 minute ride with his special four wheeler

really thoughtfully planned and decorated two domes, not far from edgeof desert, but in very secluded spot. Host always has a smile on his face, dinner and breakfast, separately ordered, were excellent.

Would advise others to check in before sunset, it can be quite daunting going into someone else’s car and drive through in the dessert in the dark. But that was our fault rather than the hosts.

Great trip and an amazing sunrise, something we’ll never forget. Host was spectacular and helpful.

The bed has a very cracking sound. I’m a light sleeper and every turn woke me up :-( Nothing the owner cab do about it bit be advised that there is still light pollution from the city nearby and also quite some noisy activities that can be heard.

Very nice and clean accomodation with everything you need! The host is a very nice guy and does everything for you to have a perfect stay! I would very recommend this accomodation for a nice experience in the desert.

Very limited amount of hot water. Also, we were not aware that we are not able to get there with our car (however, we were approaching the place after dawn).

Beautifully located domes. Perfect place to see the stars and enjoy the desert. The owner of the domes is very kind.

The overnight stay at Bubbles Domes was incredibly nice. The accommodation is very nicely furnished and very clean. The owner exceptionally friendly and accommodating. For the overnight stay, you can book the transfer to the accommodation, dinner, breakfast, a desert tour with the off-road vehicle and camel riding. We did everything and are still absolutely thrilled and would come again. Thank you!

Just nothing!

If you are looking for a unique desert experience, we highly recommend Bubbles Domes. It was one of our best experience on our trip through the Oman. You have 100% privacy in your dome in the middle of the dunes (we did not see that at any other desert camp). The dome is very well equipped and very special. We were welcomed extremely friendly and warmhearted by our host. He was more than helpful throughout our stay. He offered us fantastic activities like the 3h desert tour and camel riding. The food is amazing, water and snacks are included. Thanks for two perfect days!

Friendly staff and the place was very nice. It was a very nice night, dinner and breakfast were very nice and Arabic food, and we lived the experience as if we were in space in another world. When I did the reservation I believed that it was a far away camp in the middle of the desert. At the beginning, when I acknowledged that it was just 5’ away from the village, I felt a little bit disappointed. In the end, however, the ‘proximity’ to the village didn’t turn out to be a major issue, it doesn’t influence the view (you only see dunes from the bubble) and you anyway can experience driving through the dunes, if you want to.

The Bubble is incredibly well furnished, it has everything you can dream of. It has every confort, AC included. You are alone in the bubble, there’s only another bubble around, but not always at a sight’s view, so you really have the impression of sleeping alone in the desert. As a matter of fact, the structure is pretty close to the village compared to the other camps, so it’s particularly good for those Who want to stay nearby. In any case, you don’t see the village from the bubble. The dinner served directly in the bubble (we ate it outside watching the dunes) is of the best I remember in my Oman trip.

Despite check in saying 3pm, the owner said 4pm. I questioned it and was told to arrive at 3pm, I arrived at 3.07 and was left waiting outside someone’s house for 40 minutes and then had no apology. On checking out, I did the owner a favour by driving myself out of the dunes in my own car and messaged to say where I’d left the key and thanked him, he didn’t even reply.
