Not clean and fridge out of service

We'd like to have stayed in our original booked Arabian style house. We realise we were in the middle of the desert, but a shame there was no warm water to take a shower. The BBQ buffet wasn't of the greatest quality and the staff kept asking if we'd like to drink soft drinks or something besides water (bc that was more expensive), evantually they asked us twice if we'd like to smoke a waterpipe... again to earn money.

The location of this camp is wonderful. In the middle of the desert, but you could see a nearby camp, which was dissappointing, because you'd expect to be secluded. Anyway... we got a free upgrade of a room but actually didn't like the upgrade, cuz we'd liked to have stayed in the smaller typical Arabian houses, which were all sold out.

I would say the bed was awful except it wasn't a bed. It was a mattress pad on a box spring and hard as a rock. I barely slept. I might return if not for the awful bed. I also found the constant noise of the quad bikes to be quite obnoxious and it took away from the desert setting I thought I was paying for.

The resort is best suited for tourists with a tour group as the amenities are fine (activities, AC, food) but it lacks the final polish. For example, they had a soccer game on an outdoor screen but not enough seating for everyone. Informal camaradie did not exist and was really missing. I'd have liked a campfire and chance to meet people but it didn't happen.

The staff and management was horrible. 1.Dirty rooms 2. Broken windows in every single room 3. Water heater doesn’t work 4. Customer service was horrible 5. Staff barely spoke English or Arabic 6. Staff wasn’t even aware that they have a room service menu 7. Terrible food, both in room service and the buffet. 8. Bad overall hygiene Find another camp

3 OMR for a small juice sounded like a scam! The waiter also did not inform about the price in advance, so it came as an unpleasant surprise.

The house (with 3 bedrooms) was really spacious and nice. The dinner and breakfast were also really great: many different choices and everything tasted delicious.

I think the worst value for money ever. Tents are not equipped, poorly and cheaply furnished, there’s no care for anything. in the tent not even a chair to put your things. there’s no care. the bathroom is a ridiculous prefabricated room.

We chose the tent option. the tents are located on the top of the dune overlooking the desert. therefore location is excellent. however, if you are in the main camp location is not attractive. the main camp accomodate a huge number of people and there’s a “shop” 100 metres from the entrance where you can rent quad, etc. Overall the main camp doesn’t feel like being in the desert. The staff try their best to be helpful but I’ve the impression they’re a bit abandoned to themselves.

1. The staff were incredibly unprofessional and rude. 2. The staff were very unhelpful, and refused to give me the room service menu 3. We rented 3 Deluxe rooms and there was broken glass in every single one of them 4. There was still trash on the counter from the previous guests 5. I saw one or the staff laying on the guest towels on the trailer of the buggies outside in the heat while he was very sweaty which is incredibly unhygienic 6. The shower heater didn’t work. 7. The mattresses were hard as a rock 8. We got the half board option but they charged us for soft drinks and juices 9. No WiFi in the rooms

There is no WiFi in the room, you have to come to reception or common area to get access to the Wifi.

Being Vegetarians, Dinner was not having many options but we requested something to prepare for us in Breakfast and they did it for us. It was nice experience staying in desert.

Did not like the small enclosure of Arabian Oryx’s. It was too small of an area and it was covered in their own poo, seems like a miserable existence for them. Stick with a statue of an Oryx and send a portion of the camp profits to Oryx conservation funds instead.

Lots of well organised and affordable activities to do.

No advice on how to get to the campsite. No automatic escort to pick us up from the main road.

If you go for a lonely desert feeling you will be dissapointed. Too large, many tourgroups, loud music and strong lights. It is just a common resort, not an unique experience
