A nice hotel at the sea. We managed to change our room for the one with a sea view, very grateful for that. Amazing view from the room and the restaurant downstairs. Loved the breakfast, good choice and good quality. Nice and friendly service.

Only a buffet dinner for 399NOK was available in the restaurant on the evening I arrived. I wasn't hungry enough for a buffet, so I opted to try the Chinese restaurant down the street which cost half as much.

The location was as pretty as the pictures on their website. The room was nice and everything was clean and in order. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We needed to pack our breakfast and even that we asked for it way time ahead in the morning there was nobody on the front desk for over half hour and also didnt answered the fhones so we couldnt check out properly and gave up on the breakfast we payied for in the end after half hour of waiting we left the keys and went so we wont late to our ferry and found we were locked inside Took anothe 10 minutes to find the emergency exit

The dinner buffet was way overpriced. We paid 900 NOK for 2 adults + 1 tap beer. Food was delicious but in my opinion not worth the high price.

the only reason we didn’t give the hotel a 10 is because the town is dead in early June. all the cafes, restaurants etc at shut. the only option was a very good pizzeria 50m away from the hotel entrance. fine if you like pasta. not the hotels fault, but worth bearing mind if you are stopping here

The location is magnificent. Bedroom very comfortable. Staff gave us upgrade to a room overlooking the water.

The general impression was that the hotel was under-staffed - the receptionist had to juggle too many functions, causing unnecessary waiting by guests at reception. The dining-room menu was inadequate for a stay of more than a couple of nights - the vegetarian option remained the same throughout.

One of our travel partner expected better amenities, for example, little fridge, cloth iron. We would've liked to get four pillows for superior double room (as family room), instead of two pillows. Staff are very nice behaved.

This pearl of a hotel had a perfect and quiet location right by the sea with its own privat pier. We enjoyed a fantastic fish-soup in the very nice restaurant with a Sea view, and took a stroll to look at the fishing-boats in all sizes by the pier after dinner. The staff was nice and helpful, the breakfast was excellent with homemade bread and a lot to choose from. The beds was nice, the rooms clean nice and spacious. We will stay here the next time we are passing by Rognan. I forgot something in our room, and did not realize before we got home, but the staff was nice and sendt it to my home address. Best service ever!

It was confusing to have the reseption at the bardisk. When we arrived, there was a lot of guests in the restaurant. It took some time before the staff did see us, and checked us in.

Fantastic location right on the fjord. unexpected grand dining and relaxing area with cathedral ceiling and huge windows taking advantage of the location. Evening buffet was great. Morning breakfast buffet was even better. Paid for a superior room with view of the fjord - definitely worth it!
