Was initially given the wrong room. Was told we can only move into the correct room the next day once it becomes available. The first room had mold around the bath tub. There was also a spiderweb in the corner of the room with many insects caught inside it. There were stains on the bedsheet. However, once we moved into the correct room, it was cleaner and pleasant.

I can't say what I did not like - Management should urgently arrange some people for maintaining the Hotel. Lamps are falling down... also some doors doesn't close very well. Toilet paper, Water, Coffee, Milk, Sugar were not replaced when we were there for 3 nights. We did collect those at the Reception. But as I said...even if we had to collect these at the Reception, the people were always friendly. We even collected a bulb at the Reception and the lady installed it in my room. Hand towel paper were not replaced in the bathroom at the Reception, although I have told them 3 times to do so. But all this did not give us an awful stay. For the money we have paid for 3 nights, 3 people...and a 3 star Hotel.....this small "complaints" should be attended to.

The Hotel is right at the Lagoon and the view is superb. In front of the Hotel the walkway is open for the public, meaning, joggers and people who likes to walk, drive bicycles...etc. pass by - also very early in the morning. You will wake up because of them. In overall the room was very clean, shower is perfect, toilet as well and mattresses very good. Enough plugs are there to connect your phone, etc. Pillows should be replaced...very worn. We took our own pillows. In overall the staff is very helpful and very friendly. Always willing to help carrying your suitcases up the stairs. It was very nice to sleep with an open door at night to enjoy the air from the sea. Friendly ness of staff 10/10. It is quite at night, until 22h00 you will hear the people from the "Raft" Restaurant. But this did not bother us.

The property was not that clean, we had a toilet that was broken asked reception to get someone to fixed it but it wasn’t there. Customer service was not the best.

The property was located in a very nice area with stunning views to watch the sunset.

The receptionist was in a bad mood. Took him over an hour to check us in. The hotel is dated needs a serious upgrade. Facilities are. Really old. The bar fridge has seen better days, couldn't even put anything in there.

Tired rooms and general decor (not what you'd expect from Marriott affiliate). Extremely slow service for dinner one night (buffet the next was fine). One of our friends' room had smoking guests in a non-smoking room next door, and smoke seeped through to their room (but reception helpfully upgraded our friends to the suite)

The location of this hotel is excellent. Our rooms were on the ground floor overlooking the sea. This hotel looks its age. It has seen better times. The breakfast was excellent.

Room was not cleaned or made up. Rubbish bin and dirty towels. Did hardly ever see cleaning staff. Initially a room with a broken lock was given to us. Maintenance staff absent and did not respond to request to fix. Quality Management with regards to standards of room cleaning services and supplying of clean proper towels, sjampoos/soap, etc should be a matter for urgent attention if this hotel wants to live up to the standards of the Protea Group.
