An excellent small guesthouse with only a few rooms. Very clean and quiet. The host goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and helps with anything you need. Each room has its own fridge and the self catering kitchen is basic but has what you need for preparing your own meals. There is an outside shaded area where you can eat and relax. Very limited parking if you have a car. Walking distance from Wernhil shopping centre that has everything you need.

Little Sossus Lodge

The staff were an absolute stand out, particularly Belinda - they all went out of their way to assist their guests. The rooms were very comfortable and the Lodge is about a 45 minute drive to the Sesriem Gates of the Sossusvlei national park. Breakfast and dinner were included and for a special experience, we were treated to some entertainment by the staff after dinner one night. We were sorry that we had to leave!

Gondwana Canyon Lodge

Sensational desert setting with a short drive to the spectacular Fish River Canyon. Very comfortable rooms with buffet breakfast and dinner. Spectacular sunset walk to the top of their mountain and if you are a competent 4 wheel driver, their self drive, 4 hour safari is well worth the effort for the scenery and wildlife.

Great location by the river, great host and staff, amazing dinner and nice facilities. We did a sunset boat tour offered by the camp, which was also great. Overall we liked our stay very much.

I say to all lodges: turn off the lights at 22:00 or install thick blinders. The darker the room, the deeper the sleep.
