The bathroom inside the room was open on the top, lacking privacy. It’s not a typical African lodge, more a big hotel, but beautiful though.

The super friendly staff, the safaris, the service (they always think ahead of what the guest might need), the whole property is extremely chic and beautiful.

Pool water could be a tiny bit warmer. But this is true of any pool in Namibia.

We loved everything about Mokuti! The lodge is beautiful and spacious, the swimming pool is the best we had in Namibia, the rooms are cozy and well equipped. The food was excellent and the morning cappucino very tasty. We were very impressed with the staff. All of them were friendly, helpful and did their utmost to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We greatly appreciated the snake show with our guide Junias. The lodge is located right next to the eastern entrance to Etosha. Mokuti Lodge was what we were looking for.

Nothing!

We loved everything about Mokuti. The hotel is beautifully designed, minimalist and elegant. Big space with lots of squirrels and goats just roaming free. Big nice pool and pool bar to enjoy, they even have tennis courts, a gym and a reptile park with interesting snakes. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, right outside the Namutoni gate so you can get inside the park nice and early. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, Wifi is good in the rooms as well.

We do not like buffet food as we prefer our food cooked fresh. Less waste, hotter food and better tasting. We also stayed at Emanya and the food there was freshly cooked a la carte. We would have given it a ten if they had an alternative to the buffet food. The staff couldn’t offer us a morning game drive as they were booked so we used another safari guide.

We loved the grounds, accomodation and friendly staff. The pool was stunning and we enjoyed the outside multi level bar. The tour of the snakes and crocodiles was also very interesting and the display much larger than expected.

Only little remarks, nothing that should keep you away :) : there were a few insects in the room as it’s the ceiling have not been renovated. I know we are in the middle of nature but just to keep in mind. In the afternoon, there are not sufficient pool loungers to lie down to.

The excellent service, great food, the beautiful common areas with all the animals, the (add-on) morning game drive.. we loved our stay at Mokuti!

Tennis equipments are from an other decade but they told us they will change them (mainly balls).

Very close to Etosha’s gate for the morning drive. One of the best food we had in Namibia with an always excellent home made buffet.

The therapist (massage) was a bit "cold" at first approach. I noted "no foot touch" on the intro survey document that has to be filled in as guest information. It is important to read carefully the guests notes...in my view.

The pool, the staff (Chantal at reception) and the bar staff. The evening buffet and the breakfast. The morning game drive was well organized even though we were not that lucky on that day! The property design and the upper deck. I stayed 3 nights over a weekend and that was good after long past days drive.

This has nothing to do with the hotel services but since the roof of the rooms are made out of a different material you could hear at night when birds were on the roof.

Mokuti is an absolutely breathtaking resort. Stunning pool and bar area. Outstanding staff. Delicious food. Beautifully manicured gardens. Tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. Gorgeous spa nestled in the bush. We absolutely loved this resort. The staff member who really stood out for us was Paulus, went the extra mile and always had a welcoming smile.

The only thing which is not perfect is the size of the rooms and the fact that they have no windows. So the only light and fresh air is coming from the door.
