Painfully slow meal service, uncomfortable room and pool side furniture. Seems like a global brand bought a beautiful lodge and then forgot to look after it with love, passion and attention to detail. Habitas is just shy of being very special.

Telephones in the tents would be fine, in the night there is no chance to call the reception or security in case of a problem and unwillingness to walk the distances through the darkness, and Wi-Fi is unstable for using one‘s mobile phone.

Beautiful location with a phantastic view … a quite and cosy place to enjoy, highly motivated crew, very nice game drives with Perry the wildlife guide.

Misinformed about pricing being all inclusive. We were charged extra for food and safari excursions.

The location and concept were both breathtaking and and unique. Thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of accommodations and the remoteness allowed me to disconnect and reset.

The people are just amazing - passionate, caring and well educated on the land, animals, plantation. The rooms are lovely, with breathtaking views — we couldn’t get enough of it!

I have 2 points that I suggest improvement. 1. When we boom is not clear that to do a game to see elephants and lions we have to pay extra, that they are not included in the normal game. I think is super ok to charge extra, but it need to be clear before hand. 2. Food was great, but If possible, I would like to see more options, I just stayed for 2 nights, so it was ok, but if I stayed longer I would like to have more variety.

Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The room has a very nice size, bed is very comfortable and shower is very warm.

Clearer communication needed in order to make the experience seamless

Beautifully located with magnificent views. Designed for full engagement with nature and surrounds. Food was delicious and healthy. Yoga class spectacular. Game drives were thoughtfully put together to ensure the best viewing. Staff were attentive and thoughtful.

Game drive wasn’t very good. This was partly because the guide/driver kept overlooking animals. He definitely wasn’t a very good spotter nor was he educated on the animals, etc. Several members of the staff (hostess/greeter and some waitresses) seemed disinterested in their jobs and dining service was often slow.

Beautiful setting/views, clean, tented room was very spacious and had very good insulation/heating. Rock hyrax (also referred to as dassies) just our patio we’re very cute and kept us entertained in the early evening. The bush brai dinner was spectacular in every way!

There is absolutely nothing that did not meet our needs and every small detail was looked after and considered. Truly amazing. Few small recommendations from a personal point of view that I will share with the lodge, but really minor considerations.

The most amazing location and vista - as you arrive you you feel the stress leaving you and replaced with a feeling of tranquility and well being. Could not ask for anything more and thank you to the team for making our stay so memorable and special. The game drives was amazing and every aspect is catered for, which makes it a very special place to visit and experience. Highly recommended and wish we could have been there for longer.

- the property is located on a farm which is owned by Rashid Sardarov, a Russian billionaire, with a very questionable background (see Panama papers) and a trophy hunting history, including Rhinos

We had an amazing stay at Habitas, the views are spectacular, the room/tent was a great size and stylishly finished as was the main living area. Check-in was unique and memorable. The staff and the food were great and it was the perfect place for us to end our 3500km drive in Namibia.
