The bathroom could be more modern, but everything worked.

The hotel's location was the main reason I stayed there - the hotel is situated in the center of Rezekne, and my School was just 200 meters away. I came to meet my old schoolmates. It was a quiet room with fresh air and a double bed with good pillows (even better than I expected). The food in the restaurant was rather tasty. The view from the 8th floor was good.

Old fashioned soviet stile furniture, judging by their condition, still from those time. Not any glass in the room. Absent accessories for tee/coffee preparation.

Very good location in the centre of the town. Free internet, TV with wide selections of channels. Good breakfast.

It is a simple hotel that seems to have been built for a glorious era. Unfortunately the staff seems to be inhibited or unfriendly and very short in dialogues. Being in the tourism area, it is strongly advisable to take courses on how to better treat tourists. A smile costs nothing !

The location was very good, close to the route we used to reach the city and the route to continue our trip. Breakfst was simple but correct, and parking was in front of the door of the hotel.

Sound isolation was almost non existant and mattresses were uncomfortable.

Very specific 90's feel which is in a way the reason why one should chose this hotel. Superb 9th floor views, great location and rich breakfast. Very good value for money.

Beds were wobbly and it didn't have the cleanest of sheets.

The room, and the entire hotel is quit outdated in terms of painting, furniture, bathroom, etc. The room was relatively clean, taking into account the age of the building, but the balcony was not very inviting.

Location is pretty good, near the Rezekne centre. The staff in the reception and at the breakfast was very nice and helpful. I asked for the Iron, and it was provided immediately, although iron board was not available. The hotel seems to be in favour of workers. That's ok, because it means that during the week there is no loud parties in the rooms usually. The breakfast is in the premises of a pizzeria, located in the same building.

I booked a studio with a balcony, soundproofing and a private entrance. I don't know what they mean with private entrance; it was a door in a hotel corridor like any other room, but that's not important to me anyway. Soundproofing was more important and it was not that good towards the corridor: my neighbours opposite my room had children who liked to play in the corridor and it was rather annoying. But the real problem was the balcony. I had an amazing view from it, but the problem was that I was sharing the balcony with a colony of pigeons! It was apparently a known problem because the hotel had put nets over the balconies, but that solution has backfired spectacularily since city pigeons are like winged rats who can always find or create an opening, and so the hotel had instead given the pigeons a protected habitat! The cleaning of the room was very good but clearly did not include the balcony where pigeon droppings covered every single floortile. This is not acceptable, not at all!

The location of the hotel is commanding, at the possibly highest point of the city, and the hotel is a tall building so the view from it is magnificent! Room was big and very comfortable with a great bed. Staff was nice and serviceminded at all times. Breakfast was ok, a standard spread with no real variation, but still sufficient.

The hotel hasn't seen major renovation for quite some time, so it's a bit like travelling back in time.

Nice, central location, rather cheap for the summer season. A good place to stay when travelling for work.

No air conditioning. Shower drain was weak, flooded the bathroom.

Basic hotel, a bit dated but comfortable. Comfortable beds. Great view through big windows, excellent location. Plentiful breakfast.

The place seemed Soviet-ish, old and worn-down. Some bugs were running over floor. Balcony was heavily dirtied by pigeons. Shower handle and soap holder were loose, barely holding on the wall.

The staff was very friendly, suggested us to book a cheaper room, as we did not have many people. The bed sheets were clean, the hot water was available. The view from balcony was very nice. The booking was available on short notice whereas all other hotels weren't.
