The lack of spoons and phone chargers did made an impact. Maybe some short manuals of what to do when in Kuldiga , some info what tourist would miss using only google

Loved the hotel room- it has authentic feel and charm . Its so different from usual. Aswell in winter time it felt just like it would in some winter wonderland!

The mini-fridge is rather loud. Had to turn it off overnight. Could be nice with a large mirror in the room :)

This place has a charming atmosphere of an old wooden house and at the same time has all the modern facilities, for example, the bathroom is new and shiny and there are plenty of electrical sockets. I hope to return there and will recommend this hotel to my friends.

We liked everything.

Location was perfect and the owners were welcoming. The rooms and furnishings were very comfortable and we slept peacefully during our stay. Overall, the hotel was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and full of Latvian touches and character. We were glad to have the option of well functioning AC on hot days. The breakfast next door was delicious and service was accommodating.

The access (properly, the entrance of the hotel) will be inappropriate for disabled or elderly people : the four steps to climb to get into the lobby are extremely steep

The hotel is a very beautiful place (an old building completely renovated), the rooms are very cosy and spacious. Very comfortable as well. The location is ideal, 20 meters away from the main (and pedestrian) street of Kuldiga. Easy access by car also. Great address to remember

It was a bit hard to locate at first. There is no open reception, you need to contact the staff by phone.

Very unique hotel. Amazing restoration of a very old building with an interesting history. They have done very good work in restoring this building, including all the details. It was an experience in its own right to stay in this hotel. Besides, the location was excellent in the center of Kuldiga. Very nice set of breakfast available in the restaurant next door. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuldiga.

In spite of the central location, it isn't easy to locate, particularly driving a car! So we left our car and searched on foot. The address is on a pedestrianized street. However, once we knew the right entrance, it was easy. Breakfast is an additional expense, actually 10 Euros per person.

It is a new one in Kuldiga, centrally located and convenient. The room was of good size, all clean, all modern conveniences in an old restored wooden house.

Check-in was a little confusing, but fine. Only real difficulty I experienced was plugging in my phone near my bed, since the plug was down underneath the sloping wall--so really no major problems at all.

The room and downstairs sitting area felt new but very inspired by the history of the place. The location in the center of town was perfect. The breakfast was amazing, great and enormous servings provided at the restaurant next door, for a very reasonable price.
