It was really cold at this time of the year but nonetheless it was worth the stay. We had enough blankets to sleep comfortably and the location and view from the pod is unique and exceptional. Unforgetable.

I can't say I enjoyed the chemical toilet but since the camp is in a natural park, that's the least influence you can have on the nature. There's also only one toilet for all five cabins which in our case wasn't a problem but could be when all houses are full.

It's a really unique experience, which I absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys the pristine nature of the place. The houses are far enough apart to not be in direct ear-shout of each other, each house has its table and bench beside it, perfect for late night wine under the stars. Inside there are benches on each side and hangers so they offered enough space for our luggage. There is also a small table stored in a cabinet under the bed in case you have a very rainy day. Our stay was really beautiful.

Not able to charge phones, iPads. Lack of privacy - a woman came right up to the window when we were inside, and a man actually came up and opened the door!! Maybe need signs to tell members of the public that these are private cabins which are occupied!

Wooden walking trail near Kosrags barrel one plank was broken.Also seating area next to the barrel is falling apart. Its not repairable just need to be replaced. It would be good to have a key deposit box in case guests leave before 9 am when info center was still closed.

Exclusive location at Kolka horn with fabulous view. Perfect place to watch sunset and make early morning sunrise promenade. Good at any weather. This was our third stay. Free parking.

It’s camping so there was no running water. A shared bathroom facility or jug for hand washing would have been great. We’ll plan for that next time.

Nothing I didn't like - just a fact to state: not that many food or opportunities to eat around - just be aware of that.

Absolutely stunning location. Be aware - it's small without power, water, or internet, - but truly beautiful and with direct view of the baltic sea. Would go back again !

If you are prepared for simple camping toilet facilities then this isn’t an issue. Some complain but a fancy toilet block would detract from the simplicity of the place. It is private and clean and that’s all that’s needed.

Just fab watching both sunset and sunrise from the same cosy pod. A really special place with great attention to detail in the pods. Good cafe on site for an early supper and then a perfect chill on the beach and in the pod. Really really recommend this place as kolka is beautiful.

No options for breakfast. No toilets except some smelly porta potties with urine stored in water bottles outside! The staff in the kiosk speaks no English so we did not know where to get the keys.

The location and the views are amazing. There is a cafe on site. They make very good food, but this is unrelated to the barrels. There is also a coffee vending machine that makes surprisingly good coffee. This is also not related to the Kempings Saulesmājas.

Would be good if the shower could be included with the accommodation. Like.. who doesn't need a shower? Also, drinking water would be nice if it was available on the premises. Not big deterrents for sure, but it takes away from the comfort. I haven't been to many campings so far, but even the poorest ones had these included.

The location and view are amazing, the barrel is also very nice, clean and comfy, and there are many things that can be done/seen outside in the area. The sunsets are gorgeous too! The staff was very communicative and helpful. The toilet was regularly cleaned and equipped with the necessary things. All in all a pleasant and positive experience.
