Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

LatviaThis was our third stay with Nyx&Iris and certainly not the last one. I highly recommend this place to everyone who loves nature, peace & quiet, who appreciates lovely little details in the interior and a family-like attitude from the hosts. And of course the horses is what makes this place super special!!

The place was made with historic accent and our room (pink room with fireplace) looked better than in Booking photos. We also enjoyed horseriding and Zasa's park, which, in my opinion, is the most beautiful park in Latvia! The owners were super friendly and helpful, also shared with us interesting stories of Zasa. Totally recommend and hope to return some day!

GermanyWonderful historic mansion, very nicely renovated and maintained with everything you need for a stay in Zasa. Every room looks different and you feel as if you're traveling back in time while enjoying modern day comforts. Hosts were great as well. Highly recommend to everyone who's in Selonia/Augšzeme region.

LatviaVery unique and friendly guesthouse in a beautiful Zasa park. Comfortable bed, quality linen. Host provided even more - drinking water, excellent coffee and tea in beautiful porcelain. There were fridge and wash machine available in case of travellers need. Lovely garden. Wonderful attitude to guest needs. If you want horse riding, Jimmy is there for you. Kids would love friendly Adolf. Nearby Baron’s swimming place at Zasa pond. Very much recommended.

FinlandSome kind of breakfast option would be nice. At weekends there are only village shops open that sell only basic groceries.
Everything: historical but well equipped house, beautiful furniture, peaceful surroundings, friendly hosts, clean room, fridge and reasonably price. Zasa is optimal place to relax for a few days overall.

Beautiful location in the large old manor park, building itself having it’s original historical interior details. Great and helpful service. Great value for money.

LatviaPropety is next to the beautiful park surrounded by the old trees. as there are horses next to the house makes this place even romantic as you can hear horse sounds at the night. Bed was awesome. Definitely will stay there again.

Very welcoming hosts, house with its own charm. Nice environment around the house with large and old park including many pounds, walking trails and overall beautiful places. In booking was not mentioned, but room included small oat meal breakfasts and some basic coffee. That was just great for us. Being in area, we will book this place again.
