Location, the fact, that after checking in you can get in the hostel at any hour with door chip. I was there for the 3rd time in two years and every time I got a personal room by ordering just a bed in dormitory room. Nice :)

All bathrooms/showers are mixed-gender, and some of the teenage boys staying there didn‘t seem to have the best aim. Kitchen and appliances are pretty old, but we only stayed the night, only an observation though, as we only stayed one night and left in the morning.

Late night personal checkin was great, the friendly receptionist even showed us to a room inside the building to store our bikes without us even having to ask, so definitely would recommend for cyclists. Double bedroom was spacious, clean and had plenty of storage. Very very good value for money!

Maybe a little bit noisy, but nothing crazy.

Very big rooms and beds. The staff lady at the reception was super friendly. You even have a kettle in the room. Some reviews say that there is no shower curtains or warm water, this is not true. They have fixed these issues by now. There are shower curtains and you can even lock the shower door to be there alone if needed. I had warm water :)

Thin walls and noisy floor in the hallway. Waiting line for the showers. Toilet paper shortage.. But for the low price it is ok.

Bathrooms and some elements in the kitchen were a bit ... filty. My wife didn't want to use the shower, and finally we decided to take the morning bath in the new location, we were just moving to. The same about the kitchen staff - it had to be cleaned before using, otherwise it was ... sticky.

Big positive: there was a side door, leading outside, I didn't know about. And it was extremely handy!

Hahaha, toilets definitely needs a renovation. Also not sure if I would recommend it for a light sleeper as soundproofing was very minimal and you could hear everything behind the doors in the corridor. Although we had some drinks in the city, so this wasn’t a huge deal for us. It was a cheap place to stay for one night, so value for the money we paid was great.

We arrived by bicycles and on the check in lady didn’t speak any English but with my poor Russian and her humor we managed to speak. Loved the lady as she was very friendly and in a good mood. Also loved that staff took care and safely stored our bicycles. On the check out lady was really nice too and left very good impression for the place. The room itself was clean and bed comfortable. Location good, 10-15 min walk from main streets in city centre.

it was well managed and the staff was really helpful if you’re looking for a handy room for your stay I’ll highly recommend this one it’s located at the middle of liepaja which is a coastal city of Riga and from the hostel it’s just a walk to the beach and to the centre of the city there is a hessburger right besides the street and you’ll see more restaurants there too
