I selected the place to celebrate my birthday with a small group of friends. It appeared to be a perfect choice. We met Nina, the owner of the apartments. She is very hospital and friendly. The place is marvelous. It is a great choice if you want to spend some time in a guiet place near a lake, relax and enjoy nature. Swimming, barbecue, strolling at the picturesque surroundings brought us perfect rest and unforgettable memories. Convenient car parking. Clean spacious rooms, each having a separate entrance from the terrace. A tea pot in each room, a fridge and some welcome snacks. We chose to have breakfasts and dinners at the place and cared about food. However, one can use a restorant in nearby spa hotel or go to Cesis. I'd like to come back one day and stay in Dzeni for at least a week.

The room is adorable, stylish and well-equipped. Nice and very quiet place, with a stunning view on the pond.

The access to the lake which was deepening quickly is quite challenging with little kids. The shower in the bathroom was prone to flooding and you had to use the bathroom sink to wash the dishes (remote location resulted in places to eat being far away) Plus there was construction going on on the neighbouring plot from 8 am to 6 pm... But I guess the owners influence on this happening is limited.

Nice cosy hotel/guesthouse overlooking a small lake within the numerous holiday homes around Amatciems. We had a warm welcome by the host who prepared everything perfectly as we were coming late. In general the host was always available and took great care of our wishes, created a welcoming atmosphere and gifted us even a homemade snack when leaving. The room was equipped with fridge, table tea set and was just missing a cupboard for storage. Peaceful and quiet location (sometimes even a bit eery), we really had the estate most of the time for ourselves. Well equipped for children with a trampoline and a mid-sized climbing frame with a sandbox and a slide. Swimming on the lake was possible via a private swimming platform.

Communication was efficient and bare to minimum. Just the way I like it. Did not meet a single person during the stay. Calm and perfectly relaxing visit. Thank you!

The fridge was a bit noisy at night.

It's like a northern European version of a Samurai village with a touch of luxury to it. There's a tiny grocery store in a nearby hamlet. It's very quiet and a perfect place to switch off and enjoy the naturalistic designed landscape and architecture. Wanna buy a hut here :)

Would like it better if there was a wardrobe to put our things (couldn’t unpack properly). But it’s just a minor problem, would still recommend to stay and relax in this place!

Room was big and clean. It is very beautiful and calm outside. Cesis and Sigulda is not far away, so location is also good :)

We stayed in July, breakfast was included in the stay but upon arrival we wer told there be no breakfast. We felt disappointed, no amenities to cook or heat up anything either. Only tea or coffee. So as for family eating out 3 times a day was pretty expensive, keeping in mind closest cafe was 10km away ,shops even further

It's a great place for people who wants to relax and be away from everything. It's in the middle of nowhere very relaxing and quiet .

The beds were quite firm for our taste. The room did have a very 'budget' feel.

The location is very quiet and green. Next to a little lake and forest - nice area. Not expensive.

The large bush outside the window blocking the view to the lake! I was not sure initially if it was part of ‘Jonathan SPA’ and if I should ‘check in’ there (as the info sheet gives a check in time). But there was a key in a door so I assumed it was for me.

Nice rural location. Clean, peaceful attractive building.
