Fridge didn't work in the room, tea kettle didn't switch off and kept boiling. Some inspection, follow up of the room facilities is advisable.

Booking was for 2 single rooms but upon arrival it was stated to us that the hotel only has one room, I spent close to 30 minutes tying to solve the situation but I had to cancel booking and make a new one but was charged twice. A case was opened up with Booking.com and it was quickly resolved with a refund. Hotel restaurant was closed for evening meal but we were given excellent directions for local places serving food.

Hotel welcome was good and a helpful receptionist, quiet location with a shop and restaurants nearby.

Maybe the staff's oversight, but... there was no shower gel in the container/holder in the shower. It wasn't that the bottle was empty, there wasn't even a bottle.

A cozy small hotel with helpful staff and coziness creating a home environment. Breakfast is limited in choice, but tasty and sufficient.

Restaurant was closed. It is not in the nature. Sound isolation is bad, you can hear someome snoring in the next room.

The house itself is nice. We were surprised when we found out it was not in the nature but next to apartement blocks. The guy at the check in was kind.

Air conditioner would be great, breakfast seemed rather expensive so we skipped it. There was a kettle and fridge, but no knives to put butter on bread and also no plates/bowls in case you want cereal for breakfast etc. However we asked staff and they provides what we needed!

Very calm area, hotel is located by the forest, there is backyard with relax area. Great staff! Comfortable beds, mosquito nets on windows. It was a very relaxing stay!

Some beds were broken, and there was nobody to fix them during the weekend. Were offered to change the room, but one bed was also broken there...

Very comfy location for the summer Riga Cup event - just a couple minutes' walk to Ozo arena. Generous breakfast in the mornings, the hotel's restaurant definitely recommended for dinner. One km away from 5 Masti wake park (Masti Grill&Chill restaurant is superb).

Realized the room didn't have a fridge after bringing back some dinner leftovers and having to toss them. Hotel appeared to be nowhere near capacity, would be nice if they spread the guests out a bit, we had some very noisy next door neighbors waking us up a bunch. Overall a very nice stay.

Great location in the town, loved being right next to the forest. Breakfast included which was very nice. Kind and helpful staff, we were leaving at 5:30 am and the morning before, completely unprompted, they offered to make us breakfast to go, though breakfast didn't start until 8 am, and did have a bag with tons of food for us at the front desk as we were heading out, super nice 😊 Requested to have the room cleaned once during a 5 day stay and they did it very promptly. Room had a mosquito net on the window, unexpected in Latvia but absolutely awesome. Grocery store and a pizza place less than 5 minutes away, the hotel restaurant was also open daily though we only went for breakfast, it looked like there were a lot of options on the menu.

Location and breakfast were fantastic. Very quiet place and clean place. No problems with parking, food shop is close as well. Did not knew but there is beach next to the shop with various water attractions. Could enjoy hot days in lake beach.

Looks like cleaning staff forgot to clean WC seat, there was a tub of something from Tescos on shower tray And in changing room there was some ones large make up bag. The things you dont want to see in Covid times :(

Its perfect hotel, we always stay in there, lovely room with balcony. Comfortable and clean usually. Meals are nice. Staff friendly.

I can't say I didn't like something .

We liked location. Not far from city Jelgava. There you can get by bus , taxi or even by walk. Agate Hotel has restaurant. Food very tasty. There are some more lovely places to eat close from hotel .Masti and Meka so popular for locals. Near hotel is lake with water sport activities.

Wrong information on booking.com, we booked 2 singlerooms, when we came there they only had 1, and wanted us to pay extra for a doubleroom for 1 person. No logic speaking to staff. Info said restaurant, but it was closed for renovation. 12 euro each for a simple breakfast.
