Some lights in the room didn’t work, and they close at 1500, reopens at dinner time. If it wasn’t because one of us arrived early to check in, I don’t know what will happen. But I suppose they communicate with you to check what time you arrive and would make sure you get the key?

The family bnb feeling, the accommodation is above the restaurant and you have a back door access to the restaurant. The room is clean, everything is good. They even do daily room service if you need. Close to public transport, very easy to get to town especially transport is free in Lux

The owner was very friendly After I checked in I had to drive my car to go somewhere when I was back the parking was full The owner removed his car for me to park my car One more thing we are arrived late & had dinner already during check in the hotel restaurant was full & smell was amazing I advice to try the hotel dinner it seems yummy :)

Price was top end of what would be expected. But that's probably par for the city

Pleasant hotel, a few kilometres from the centre of the city. Staff were friendly and the room was comfy and clean.

We felt a cigarette/cigar smoke on the restaurant on the ground floor. It prevents us to visit restaurant with a kid.

Even building seems old, interior is refurbished. Clean and comfortable. The main host is very gentle and friendly.

As a couple with a 5 year old we found Auberge La Veranda the perfect place to stay during our mini break to Luxembourg. We arrived a good few hours before the usual check-in time as our flight was early but the staff were very helpful and facilitated an early check in which allowed us to take a nap/shower before heading in to the city centre to explore...We had to wait an hour or so before the room and was ready so we ate in the restaurant attached to the accommodation which was lovely. The room was nice with a sliding door into an extra room with bunk beds for our child. The beds were very comfy and there was lots of storage space and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom /shower facilities good too. The accommodation was a few minutes walk from many bus stops and from the tram which brought us in to the city centre in approx 10/15 mins. Breakfast was top quality with lots to choose from. We let the accommodation know that my husband requires gluten free and there was lots of gluten free bread/cakes waiting for him.

Really nice hotel. Super kind and helpfull staff. Would stay here again. 2 km from the center, but it is no problem as publisert transport is a few hundred meters away and free.

There's no elevator instead stairs. It's very difficult to lift up a big luggages going upstairs. Luckily the staffs helped us to bring our big luggages to our rooms

A small family hotel and Italian resto in the middle of Luxemburg. The owner is very kind and welcome. The staffs were very helpful also.

Everything was perfect on this price. the host is a super nice gentleman. The hostel is with a popular Italian restraunt.So they let me leave the luggege during the restraunt opening. Only 4-5mins walk to the bus and train station,because of free public transportation, is so convenience to get to any where of luxemburg.

Very late check-in at 5.30pm. No baggage drop-off option either was a big problem for me as I was on foot & it never crossed my mind to check until it was too late. A bakery/coffee shop directly opposite meant I had somewhere to sit while I waited & it had a toilet so a life-saver. The reasons given were fair enough I suppose & wouldn't be a problem if you have a car. This was the only negative in an otherwise great stay.

Very comfortable room with a kettle, tea & coffee & drinking chocolate. Excellent breakfast included, terrific Italian restaurant downstairs. Lovely staff. Bus stop nearby & all public transport in Luxembourg is free so a bonus.
