The room was a bit cramped because of unusual large cupboard. While the place is called 'Garden resort', we were amazed by the poor condition the garden was in.

The owner runs the place by herself, assisted by some girls. She provides a good breakfast. Dinner was very nice as well. The doorlock appeared not to lock at all, so a change of room was offered and accepted. The rooms are very quiet, while the resort is just 'off the main road'.

The staff clearly loves to take care of the resort and its guests. Very warm and friendly people, makes the stay so much more comfortable, plus they cook each meal with extra dedication.

The care and hospitality that I received from Ngoc and her family while staying at their beautiful hotel, was unmatched. I have been traveling for some time and have been homesick, and the comfort and warmth that was provided to me here was exactly what I needed and made me feel immediately at home. The daily breakfast and dinner that I ate at the restaurant was phenomenal. The vegetarian green curry might be the best that I have had. The room was appointed well and comfortable. Certainly, given the garden setting, a friendly visitor from nature might make an appearance now and then, but that is no bother to me. Quite honestly, when I left I was sad, as I don't know that I will again experience the genuine attention and family-like care that I received here.

The Xuanmai Garden Resort is an amazing place tp stay in Pakse and also for visiting the Bolaven. The Resort is run by the nicest family ever! Ngoc is working at the reception and is also an amazing cook! She helped us with everything during our stay. We rented also a motorbike, left our big bagpacks at the resort and went for the Bolaven!

Nothing - everything was fine.

Our 2nd stay here. Excellent location for southern bus station with a lovely garden to relax in. Food was very good at breakfast and also at evening meals - Ngoc (owner) also runs cookery classes for guests. She's also extremely helpful with advice and arranging tuk-tuk pick-ups, activities and onward travel.

Yes, it’s a bit out of the centre, but thats the charm, an oasis in the city. Hospitality is great and you do not reslly need to get out. Ngoc and her team prepare you a fresh and tastefull dinner upon request.

The host is extremely kind and furnished us with all the help she could for our booking requests to zipline at Tad Fane Waterfall and for our return bus. She even booked us Tuk Tuk for whenever we needed.

It was all good.

Gnoc was very attentive to all her guests. Great food and lots of resources. We rented a scooter, and she arranged for the bike to be brought to us. She also helped to arrange our transport to our next destination. This took any worries we had away about finding appropriate transport.

It was a little far from downtown but we had a motorbike so it didn’t matter. Wifi seemed to shut off at times and the router needed to be reset.

It was a very comfortable little sanctuary. Food was very good. The owner was super sweet and always willing to help. She arranged whatever we needed. Lovely stay

The host is lovely and very helpful, the food they serve is more than delicious. The resort is just off the main road, the garden and the area is absolutely quite and relaxing. I did stay only one night but I really loved it. Will not hesitate to book again should I go back to Pakse.
