How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Have my clothes to wash day before we were leaving. Boy was it a mistake. They promised it’ll be done by 9 am. Came to pick up our clothes they didn’t even know anything about it. I went behind the bar and found some of my clothes in the rain then a lot of my underwear and clothes are missing. Really pissed me off. And tried to tell them no apologies and no explanations they keep talking to me each other in Lao. But apart from that situation it wasn’t bad and worth the money
It was decent. Didn’t mind staying there and free breakfast and some happy hour free drinks. Pool and receptionist and staff were lovely.

Second time that I come to this hostel. Clean, good a/c, pool table and swimming pool, breakfast included. They let me check out in the late afternoon since I had to take a flight in the evening.

Location is not the best if you are trying to find something to eat. I would have thought there would have been street vendors outside. But nothing. A 7-11 or something similar would have been great.
AC in room worked very well. There are many shower and toilet stalls. All clean. Pool looked good, but I did not use it. They sell Beer there and other drinks not much more than at a grocery store. Staff is very helpful. They arranged a ride for me to the Airport early in the morning. Overall quiet at night. I stayed in room with bunk beds. 3 other guys in there. They were respectful and used ear phones with there phone. I felt safe walking around outside of the Hostel.

I arrived at 3am but the guy staying at night at the reception didn't know a word of english. I ended up sleeping on the sunbed until the other guy arrived in the morning.
Close to the day market, good a/c, clean facility. Swimming pool was good with the heat of may. Helpful staff. Basic breakfast included. They let me check in in the morning.

hard to communicate as staff speak little English, but most are friendly and willing to help. some showers have sewage smell,
Excellent hostel to meet new people with great vibes. free 1 hour drinks vodka and rum, although drinks prices are reasonable, swimming pool open until late with bar for drinks and music, friendly staff, no hustle for late checkout, I was also able to check in early as I was very tired from a long trip, breakfast included and not bad for the price. Mixed toilets and showers, clean beds, rooms, showers and toilets, easy to get from the airport by public bus just 5 minutes walk, to the main bus station about 15 Minutes walk

Staffs are very friendly. Amazing with swimming pool. Free long drink( wolka/ whisky mix)7-8pm. Free breakfast. Allow check in earlily. Luggage store. Ac open 24h.Bed Comfort. Good location. Camt find other hostel like this in Vientaine.

Very nice with the swimming pool and the restaurant/bar! The included breakfast was also very good. The owner is also very nice and helpful.

In the dorms each bed required a privacy curtain..

“The hotel is located in a quiet alley, very nice and the location is still within walking distance to the night market, bars and restaurants. The facilities were all very clean and the beds were quite comfortable!”

Since the bathroom is next to the pool it is partially open to the outdoors so there were some flies/mosquitos in the shower
I had a short stay here before my flight but it was good. The pool area is the best feature, big with many lounge chairs etc. to socialize if you want. The bedroom has privacy curtains, and the bathroom had many stalls and showers.

They don't have 🛅 locker, so it's very difficult to go outside to take same important on bed .like camera , laptop , passport etc .
