they were a lot of ants all over the hotel. If you booked any activities or transportation with the hotel, it's more expensive than if you cross the street and book with the local agency.

We booked a tuk tuk through the hotel to take us to the blue lagoon, price agreed it was 250,000 great service, tuk tuk was fast (this was more than we had been offered the day before, but due to ease we used the hotel to book) When we got back and paid driver came back into hotel to ask for another 100,000, which would have meant the price way over what we would have wanted to pay for a service that was less than 2 hours. The hotel then said no he said it was 350,000 not 250,000 we said no that wasnt what was agreed. They didnt try and ask us again after we said no we werent paying extra (if it was really supposed to cost more im sure they would have been more pushy) . So obviously the driver/ hotel had a scam to try and get more money off us. This made us feel awkward after this encounter as we dont like conflict. We would have used the hotel to book more activties/ transport but after this we didnt. Hotel great. but dont book activities!

Our room wasn't that nice. The room and bathroom was a bit dirty. The towels provided smelled like smoke.

The location was great. Right beside the night market. The staff were very nice. There was breakfast included which was great. The room was a good size.

Instead of water bottles in room, provide a water dispenser to reduce plastic. Clean or repaint walls, they are full of bug splatters. Stop staff members from smoking in the lobby. Expect loud music in this area from 9pm-12am.

Location is near the night market and the center of town. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. River is reachable on foot in 10 minutes. Room is comfortable but can use a deep cleaning. Shower water pressure is good and hot water is consistant. In the room they offer water and kettle but no tea, coffee, or cups. Breakfast is basic eggs or pancakes, fried rice, hot dog, ham and fresh fruits.

The room was very basic and needs some TLC. It was quiet and comfortable with good air con, but they do need an overhaul, they are very dated.

The location was great and the staff were also excellent. Managed to rent a motorbike much cheaper and easier through the hotel compared to the companies on the street. They also got me a good price for a tuktuk to the station.

Not the most up-kept or tidy room but for the value it’s a great alternative from a hostel if you want your own room for the price. Was noisy until 10:30 from hostel across street but then silent with no problems sleeping.

Very central within 10 minutes walk of everything. The female owner was SO helpful in organizing everything and very sweet. Good AC. Water pressure / temperature was not the best but fine.

I was late for my train because they never bothered to call the tuktuk driver. my plan was ruined! Wifi wasn’t great in the room. I had to use my own data.

Very basic accommodation and location is good. They gave me a room on the 3rd floor with views of the mountains. The staff was nice until they made me late for my train.

location was good, close to bars and restaurants could rent a bike across the street. staff were really nice and helpful booked transfers through the hotel

rooms weren’t cleaned once during our 4 night stay so we had to ask for toilet paper / bin bags every day. staff seemed very disinterested and shower/blinds were broken. bathroom door wouldn’t shut. rooms are loud at night, we had ear plugs so didn’t bother us too much.

There was super noisy A/C fan right behind our window that belonged to some other room, so it was hard to sleep. Leaking toilet, very basic breakfast and very „tired” bed sheets.
