Don't take city tour through them. It is too expensive for what you get. The hotel was gracious and discounted some of the cost. Nevertheless, for Laos a half day tour that ended up only 3 hours should have been much less. Ultimately, it was our fault for agreeing to this. The hotel handled our concerns well. Also if taking river boats, realize that folks with limited mobility may feel uncomfortable going down and boarding the boat as the path is not all paved and we once had a harrowing departure that damaged my knee.

Beautiful hotel in an old style building. Our room was on first floor and we had a view of the Mekong River. Breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold dishes made to order. The hotel provided complimentary water which you could refill anytime and daily fruit and snacks in the room. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and organised a couple of trips and taxis for us during our stay.

One of the nicest and most considerate hotels I ever stayed in. The service was outstanding and the staff is very kind. We even were offered a free sunset cruise that we really enjoyed. The minibar is free and you get unlimited water. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is à la carte and really good and fresh and is served on a terrace next to mekong river. If you come to Luang Prabang you should stay in this hotel!

The hotel location is perfect to explore the Luang Prabang old town. There is also a beautiful hotel restaurant overlooking the Mekong River, serving delicious food - sumptuous breakfast and best mango sticky rice I have ever had! The rooms themselves were spacious, clean and comfy. Comfy beds with mosquito nets. The decoration is very tasteful. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel management are also thoughtful and detail oriented. And the complimentary sunset cruise was a very nice touch! Overall, a perfect hotel to explore Luang Prabang!!

Everything was perfect for us.

The service is really great, you have a free minibar and the possibility to refill your water bottle whenever you want. They even provide Water bottles for free. The breakfast is " à la carte" and really genuine.

The location of the hotel was excellent to walk around the town and access to the river attractions. The restaurant was perfectly located with an excellent view. Breakfast choices were excellent. Rooms were great. Staff in particular were exceptional.

We spent the Lao new year and in the streets we have been quite watered as a wish.

Very Location very good Welcome of staff very professional , sympathic and efficient. Staff with a very good English speaking Room full of very beautiful wood, very nicely designed and very comfortable. Breakfast and restaurant place very incredible overtopping Mekong river Lovely shadowed gardens along Mekong very under-used. Unfortunately as this is the best place in Luang Prabang to see the junks passing along. I recommend to enjoy this hotel. Very soon.

Great location next to the Mekong. Amazing staff - all staff were super friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. The breakfast was superb as one can order as many dishes as one likes. The dinners were fabulous. All employees went out of their way to ensure our stay was special, they arranged all our trips at very reasonable prices and they always asked for feedback. We had a marvelous time at this hotel.

Would like to have a little writing pad or paper. It was provided when asking but I really rely on the scrap paper when I travel. It would have been nice to have had a pool but the location makes that impossible. No TV a nice change some may not like their approach.

The room was big with a separate entrance beautiful building right across from the Mekong river. The staff were great to set up tours, very friendly, helped whenever needed. The location is close to everything and river access is great. Nice separate sitting area and a free well stocked mini bar. The restaurant staff were also terrific knowledgeable and friendly.

The staff are excellent. We incorrectly booked the late train back to Vientiane. They were kind enough to extend the check out time till nearly very late. This was a HUGE help in terms of allowing us to get some rest and staying out of the sun. Much appreciate this kind gesture. But even before that, at check-in, when they noticed, we were three, they give us the bigger of the two rooms in our booking category. I appreciate the way to staff noticed these small details. It matters.

The location by the river and near everything we wanted to see in Luang Prabang was perfect. The staff were attentive and helpful in so many ways. The decor in the rooms (we stayed in two) was quietly elegant and true to local taste and tradition. The dining terrace and organic vegetable garden overlooking the Mekong were wonderful. Belle Rive was just what we hoped for and we would absolutely recommend this lovely place.
