I was upstairs and I had my own hammock, table and chairs outside my room. There was also a machine to refill your bottle so there's no need to buy water from the shops. The location is on the side of the main viewpoints and is close to really nice restaurants.

Bathroom stunk of damp. Ants on pillows. Noisy as by roadside and opposite bars.

Good location and comfy bed. Owner let us store our bags.

Couldn’t find staff most of the time so could not get our laundry done. Shower was cold and pressure was painful. Wifi was passable. Opposite a rowdy bar so could be loud at night. Unrelated to the property but the 2 ATMs in the area stopped working while we were there, so make sure to bring enough cash with you before arriving just incase, or else you’ll have to tighten your belts when you miss a meal to save money!

Location was superb - near food, ATM and tour booking places. Had a lovely balcony view to relax and play cards at. Staff were friendly when they were actually around. Were given nice blankets for the cold nights.

The shower only has cold water. The bathroom always has some standing water on the floor around the toilet as it doesn't drain properly.

Room and facilities fairly basic but seems to be the standard in the town for that price point. Wouldn't expect a luxury stay.

The wifi would not work for me, but it was okay. Also, because of the restaurants next to the Guesthouse, it was a bit noisy, but nothing that lasted more than 9pm! (and also not the responsability of the staff). I deftly recommand! Thank you for the stay

The Guesthouse is super well located, neat all the restaurants. Spacious room with a big bed. It was clean and comfy. There were clean sheets, a towel as well as a fan. The staff was so welcoming and kind!! They were helpful whenever I had a question.

For a budget guesthouse it's great value for money, the family that run the Sythane are really friendly. The location is good with restaurants and other facilities in a minutes walk.

No complaints, aside from the fact that it's very basic, but it's good value for money considering you have your own room.

Good location - close to the boat pier, and walkable from the bus station, facilities are very basic, but it's clean, there's Wi-Fi, the manager lady is very nice.

There was no hot water in the shower, therefore, the price could have been slightly less expensive.

Phulisack Guesthouse was less than decent for the price - room was basic and very cold. Sewage / gray water from the sink was falling straight on the floor so the whole bathroom was wet. The view from the window was straight over another building and the terrace was shady almost all the time. A plus - hot water dispenser and a bottle of water in the room.

We booked a room in Sythane Guesthouse for one night and when we came to the place they moved us to a different guesthouse that was not that good (Phulisack). We weren’t even told why. The price was 200.000 KIP paid to the lady from Sythane.

You get what you pay for. The owner didn't understand English well, so it was hard to get some information.

Clean and affordable price. I guess it's the cheapest one in Nongkhaiw. The location was not bad as well.

Bit dingy, only a fan, no air con wbich was ok as the room didn't heat up too bad. It was actually very cool n the early hours but the quilt on the bed had no cover over it! We used our travel towels as covers. Noisy with cockerels middle of the night. We stayed 2 nts at $34 for 2 but for a couple more when in town you get a lot better room. Shower was cold and not great but manageable.

Comfy large bed and a lovely view from the terrace with a hammock. Central so easy to walk from where the ruk tuk drops you after the bus. Good wifi.
