The pool was nearly as warm as a bath, but still a welcome relief from the heat of the day.

A beautiful resort, tucked back on the edge of the Nam Song River, providing an oasis to return to after a day of adventure and activities in the stunning surrounding villages, hills and water features of Vang Vieng. The property is beautifully maintained, with fantastic views from our balcony room. The staff, especially in the restaurant, were all so friendly, stopping whatever they were doing to acknowledge us personally on every arrival and departure from the restaurant! (A special mention to Kid, whose friendly attentiveness was endless). Highly recommend this upmarket resort.

The breakfast was a little basic given the price of the rooms. I think the staff could also better explain what is available on check-in, there were some amenities I wasn’t aware of.

Very good location! Swimming pool is nice. The room is good and clean, the staff is great and the hotel offers different tour and they help to plan everything to do around Vang Vieng. They have free bicycle available. The restaurant is really good, the menu has different choices for reasonable price. The food is good quality and breakfast Buffett is good! It is comfortable place to stay. Would definitely recommend this place

On site restaurant got our order wrong and then tried to charge us for the more expensive, incorrect dish that we couldn’t eat. It’s quite an expensive place to stay for the area, I’m not sure the price is justified in comparison to others in the area.

This hotel is really amazing. The location is magical and every night we experienced the passage of hot air balloons floating above us down the river. What a sight. Restaurant and bar are right on the river and serve a great range of Lao and Western food.

The only problem - early noises. Staff started to fix something in the garden at 7am right outside our room.

Very cozy, very clean hotel. Very lovely garden. Nice breakfast buffet. This hotel is the best place to enjoy sunset, no need to book noisy boat trips. Enjoy sunset at the pool with a glass of MaiTai- best view in all Vangvieng.

A bit disappointed by the bottle water every day… We asked to refill and we were given new bottles of plastic… So many plastic could be avoided. Please switch to refill glass bottle 🙏🏻 As written in some other reviews, it is true that we hear the noise of the long tail boats in the morning (around 8am) and in the afternoon (between 5-7pm). It didn’t bother us but might be more inconvenient for rooms closest to the river.

This boutique hotel has amazing views during sunset as it looks out over the Nam Song River onto the hot air balloons and paramotors. It is situated close to an antique bridge that adds flavor to Vang Vieng. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is varied and hit everything on my list. The pool is perfect for cooling off and the loungers are comfy. There was some roof repair work being conducted which added noise to an otherwise peaceful stay, but it is understandable that work has to be done at some point. The only thing I wish they could add would be better lighting over bathroom mirror for putting on makeup and an adjustable magnifying mirror for those of us over 40 that like to see our faces when getting dressed. There was also some confusion as to dinner time being served at hotel. The earliest seating is 6:30 pm and we like to eat earlier. That wasn’t an issue though because there is a wonderful restaurant right up the hill called AMD and it saved us money!! We would like to highlight Addy, the hotel’s bartender, for his fantastic mixology skills; Air, front desk, just an all around nice guy; and June, breakfast and lunch server, for taking care of us so well.

Staff were not as helpful in reception as other places we stayed in Laos, when wanting book trips we were told to go up the road to book them. Would have prefered a room with a view, booking said balcony with mountain view but we were on ground floor and had a tree in front of it so not much a view. I hear that if you go thru booking.com they dont give you the good rooms because of discounts.
