Unfortunately a mega hotel being finished across the street - some construction noise during day & blocking/restricting view.

Door to the balcony with large gaps that let bugs, hot air and lots of noise from outside in. Room was small, overall a bit overpriced.

Excellent breakfast for Lao standards including a salad buffet. Clean and tidy rooms. Fast and reliable WiFi.

Unfortunately the staff caused me quite some trouble. The payment terminal didn’t produce a receipt when I paid, I showed the staff, that the payment went through on my online banking. But they staff said, that no receipt means no payment. They insinuated that maybe my card has no balance left, which wasn’t true. Plus I don’t realise they understood how unprofessional that statement was. I asked them to check with their bank, but they would refuse to do so. So the next day I paid cash at an awful exchange rate. Only to find out days later, that indeed I paid twice.. after all this ordeal, I got my money back in Luang Prabang.. if they would have listened to me, the issue would have been solved directly

The room wasn't what it looked like in the photos. It's much older and more rundown. The water in the shower didn't drain well and there was a bad smell. The door and lock didn't feel very secure. We were only there for a short stay so it was fine and we just put up with it, but I wouldn't stay again unless they update their facilities.

Excellent service from Lixay! (I hope I spelt his name correctly) I stayed here on my first night in Vientiane & it was such good value I came back again for my last night before flying out. The rooms are impeccably clean. On my first night, I stayed at the room beside the road. There can be some noise from traffic at night. On my last night, I requested for a room on the inside & it's quiet. However the airconditioning had some issues and didn't cool the room. Lixay was really helpful to explore options to mitigate the problem and I was satisfied with how the issue was resolved. Throughout the process, he remained calm. His keen customer service and great display of empathy helped to turn the situation around. Highly recommend to stay here if you get a room! Plenty of food options in the area.

It was tucked away down a quiet side street, which meant the view from our balcony wasn’t anything to write home about - but that’s the downsides of a city centre location. Other than that it was all excellent.

Our room was beautiful and really spacious. Very comfortable bed. The hotel was well decorated and maintained throughout and staff at front desk were helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and vegetarian options were available, but slightly less choice for vegans as most dishes included eggs. But plenty of fruit and toast. Location was central for getting to most places in the town.

Hotel staff was very nice. The room service was so sweet: We booked a room with 2 single beds, as nothing else was available. We did push together the beds and after the room service were in the room they prepared the beds like a double bed for is - we didn't say anything, they did it on their own, which ia very thoughtful of them. :) The breakfast was good, they even had Nutella. ;)

The only thing was there was a construction project across the river from early morning until late afternoon - that ruined the ambience and peacefulness of the hotel.
