Really convienant location just across the bridge, there is a lovely balcony area with chairs in front of the room. The rooms were what you expect from the photos and clean!

Unfortunately during our stay there was no running water for about half of the day which was a bit frustrating as we could not shower or even use the toilet!

Bed could have been more comfortable. Room is rather bare. Still, had a nice stay.

Nice location, with (a bit of) a view of the river from the terrace in front of the room. The terrace is also nice to sit outside, and relax a bit. Quite a few restaurants around.

It’s not possible to close the doors silently unfortunately there were other quests who constantly were opening and closing their room door at 6am the one morning, that was super annoying

It’s quite simple but got everything you need. Comfy bed, warm water, ac, balcony and spacious rooms. Even a hairdryer and laundry service. The location is a bit behind the bridge, everything you need is within walking distance. You can even book tours with them and the staff was nice. We were doing a overnight hike and could leave our bags here for the night and check back in early the next day.

I wouldnt recommend the laundry service. When i received my laundry I had a feeling to check it and my favorite tshirt was missing. I told them and they retrieved it promptly. This was a tad suspicious, its a beautiful tshirt

The bathroom could use updating (it took some figuring out how to use the shower, and the bidet didn't seem to work). I think everything is looking a bit dated, and for the price, I was maybe expecting a bit better quality. But overall it's fine for a couple of nights.

An okay stay at Meexai. The bed was comfortable and the location is good (easy walk to the two hikes I did and the Historical Caves). There's a very sweet dog on the property who walked with me through town one time.

The first room we got did not look as on booking. Very old and not nice to sit outside. The Wifi wasn't great - depending on room.

The owner was very helpful with Tours and transportation. The location is nice, you can go anywhere in Nong Khiaw by foot.

The owner tried to ascertain what we had paid elsewhere for a two-day trek, got the wrong end of the stick and posted on the local trekking company WhatsApp an incorrect price so by the time we arrived at the company to start the trek, the owner accused us of lying about the price we’d paid and we had to speak to the WhatsApp group to set the record straight.

The property was well-located and clean.

The WiFi only worked intermittently. The staff was not very friendly and not helpful in answering any questions.

The room was big and had a nice patio to sit out on with a view of the river. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked great.

The wife was always grumpy with this angry face and didn’t speak English. The bathroom was uncomfortable as it didn’t have much space to place my things on. Also even if the boiler was on no hot water was coming and I took cold showers.

The husband was very helpful to buy my train tickets through the lao train app, even if he charged me a commission fee. Location was good and also the view.

- No kettle in the room, bathroom was very basic- no actual tap and sink is moving. - owners weren't very friendly - far from the bus station/restaurants in the city centre if one walks -pillows very hard

+ It was clean + nice view from some balconies + breakfast at a reasonable price (25-35k) + close to all the hiking trails + AC and fan
