A/C could do with an upgrade, spent a lot of the night on top of the covers. Shower doesn’t have a head holder either.

Nice little home stay, big enough room, clean (great idea to provide a squeegie (spelling?!)in the bathroom ), very nice breakfast, great to have access to water; And the owner saved us when we got out of the bus super early in the morning and were able to access the room, life savior!!

was in a perfect location, and Xavier and his Wife were the best hosts. The room was also lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy! They sorted our motorbike rental in advanced for the pakse loop and gave us lots of information for it. They let us leave our bags while we did the loop and even did our washing for us whilst we were away! The breakfast was also amazing and some of the best fresh bread we have had in Laos

No hangers (for hanging clothes) nor any clothes rack. This was a major disadvantage for us. If the power goes off, no back-up even for a short time. Water pressure in the shower is very low. Xavier, the host, is a good person. Still, his smoking within the reception area cannot be lost sight of. It is better to designate some space for smoking, without causing any inconvenience to non-smokers.

Nice host. Takes good care of guests. Room has all the basic facilities. Drinking water is available without limit (just fill the jug, whenever required). Fridge is in the kitchen. It can be used by the guests. Water heater in the bathroom helps to take hot shower any time.

New family run guesthouse. Budget friendly, in a side street close to the river and restaurants. The owner rents out motorbikes and is a knowledgeable source of information for things to see in the area, including the Bolaven trail. I had an amazing two nights here, thanks Xavier and family!

We ended up getting the dorm room, which just had a bunk bed which was perfect! The bed was super comfy, and the shared washroom was very clean. It was a very quiet and comfortable stay, would reccomend it!

Xavier is a sympathetic host and helping with lots of advice about Pakse and the loop. The location is tranquil but everything important in walking distance. In about 100 meters distance, on the opposite side, there is a small local supermarket with a lovely family. We had a couple of beers there and a really nice time with this lovely people.

Xavier an excellent host.Very helpful. Hostel close to a lot of places. Place very clean. No complaints. He can also rent bike to you for the Loop. Nice little veranda where all could meet and talk traveling.

Shower was a bit awkward to use, top bunk was a bit awkward to access as well. Apart from that all good.

Another spotless SE Asian place. Good location near to restaurants. Friendly helpful owner who booked onward transport. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Good wifi.

Very comfortable & clean. It's small and intimate with the special attention that comes with it. I only stayed 1 night but was very happy with everything. Xavier and his wife are great hosts. I wanted to book another night in a few days time but they were sold out for weeks... I'm not surprised. I definitely recommend this place if they have a room.

Can't think of anything.

No reason to look any further than Bolaven Trail Guesthouse when looking for a place to stay in Pakse. Our nightbus dropped us off earlier than expected, so we arrived at 4:00 am... We were really happy we could drop off our bags at the guesthouse to get some breakfast and after that check in early. Xavier is a super friendly host and will help you with anything you may need. The rooms are clean and comfortable and so are the beds. Rooms are spacious as well. There's a hot shower and the wifi's good. Added bonus are the French baguettes you can get for breakfast😁. Thank you Xavier!
