The only wee fault I can think of was every now and then my room smelt a little wiffie at times, I just put it down to the aircon pulling air in from outside. The weather was very hot and humid, walking around the city occasionally you would smell the drains. But this was a very minor issue. The Aircon was playing up for me at one point. I mentioned it at reception on the way out, and it was sorted by the time I came back. This did not upset my stay.

Drinks in the bar pricey. Also with “ Happy Hour “ drinks are not cheaper you just get some food. This is the only place I have been during fairly extensive travels where happy hour does not mean reduced drink prices.

The taxis we wanted to order would have been much more expensive than outside or on Grab. We wanted to exchange money but many of our US dollar bills were not accepted. The said they didn't look new enough.

when the doors to the rooms close they slam extremly noisy into the lock connecting door from hotel to public area slams extremly noisy as well breakfast was a bit boring only 6 sunbeds at the pool - you need to hurry to get one

Probably could do with a couple more sun-loungers, we managed to get one each but other people didn’t. They have chairs as well.

Enjoyed a really comfortable stay here, decent mattress & pillows and a good sized room. Really nice pool area. The staff are great, a special mention to Kai and all the young trainees who did a fantastic job!

The breakfast was good, you order your choice of eggs and there is a buffet to choose from, however the replenishment was a bit slow, this is the only advice I would give for improvement.

The location couldn't be better, it is centered and has many restaurants around. We had a room with the view on the back of the property, so it was calm, not sure about the other side, but anyways it's not a very noisy city. The rooms were simple, and the breakfast was good enough. We needed a good hotel to pass through on our way to other places in Laos, so it was perfect for that. The pool area is nice to chill.

The breakfast should offer a better variety of western bread such as croissant, buns, coffee cakes etc. We spent 6 days at Le Charme and the food was always the same every day.
