Staff hard to find but very helpful when they were there. Aircon wasn’t great in the private twin room.

Great place to stay if you’re doing the loop - can leave big bags there. Good sized rooms and location. Pool great, especially after the loop!

We had an issue with booking an overnight bus through the hostel (it didn’t get booked and then the owner told us 30 mins before we were being picked up that it was very difficult to get a bus because of the new year). If we had known this earlier we could’ve got a bus during the day, but instead we almost missed connecting buses into Thailand! The owner was very chill about the whole thing and not very helpful.

Room was good and clean. Good for the night before starting the thakhek loop. We sorted bike rental through them & then returned after we finished the loop.

The guy from the front desk is so nice and helpful, he drops you off with his van wherever you want, he even took me to withdraw money from the ATM.

The hostel had really good aircon and beds had sheets hanging in between so you varnt see the next person. The owner was so helpful with organising the loop, getting a rental scooter and telling me where to stay. He also booked the night bus to Vientiane for me and then drove and waited with me at the bus stop till the bus came.

Standard Breakfast nothing special. Really few fornitures in our room. The A/C of our room broke off and the owner gave us a fan for the night, but was ok.

Staff always helpful Possibility to rent motorbike directly from hostel. The shower after thakek loop was great. The owner helped us to book nightbus to vientiane and grab to pick up point

Not a huge amount of chill out spaces.

Great beds. Average pool, didn’t use but it looked good. The breakfast was great! They did fried toast instead of regular toast which was a nice touch. The coffee was really good! 25,000 Kip for a cappuccino. They’re very helpful with motorbike hire for the thaklet loop. Owners really friendly and good English speakers. They offer free shower after finishing the loop.

Clean, comfortable, big beds. Facilities are clean and the showers are warm with great pressure. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even took me for emergency surgery!!

The room we had was upstairs but the shared bathroom downstairs. That’s a bit annoying but still worth it going there!

Really nice hostel, amazing pool and fair price! Rooms are very clean! Everything is well equipped and next door is an amazing vegan, vegetarian restaurant! Can totally recommend it! They also can arrange 24 hours check in and it’s in walking distance to the main scooter rentals for the loop.

As with nearly all hostels in this part of the world, there are limited kitchen facilities.

Nice hostel with the great bonus of a small swimming pool, and a wonderfully helpful host, who will organise tours, etc and also take you places himself. Clean, and good wifi.

I recommend 100% this hostel !! The host is super helpful and the beds are great + the pool is a great add the area! To be honest Bamboo Hostel is in my top 2 best places I’ve stayed :)

Nice little spot to spend a couple nights in Thakhek. Mr Noy was super responsive and drove us to Green Climbers home on our last morning in town. Beds are comfortable and much larger than a standard twin size. Bathrooms were clean, no complaints.

The people who work there are extremely friendly and the one who is in charge of the reception speaks very good English, very good recommendations, very clean bathrooms, and next to the hostel there is a vegetarian restaurant with delicious and very cheap food.

There is no lock on the front door or dormitory door so someone could easily come in at night.

The beds are comfortable and quite spacious. The air conditioning works perfectly. Located a 5 minute walk from the main square and night market. The owner is very helpful. He organises bus transfers, bike rentals and even let me try some of his dinner. He truly provides a personal touch. Lovely pool and garden area out the back to relax in.

The owner provided a taxi from Savannakhet AirPort and to Nakhon Phanom AirPort in ythailand. Room was very clean and breakfast was nice.

Very friendly owner who will help you arrange excursions, transfers etc. I could also check in early which was very nice. Location is very close to the nightmarket and the city centre.

Very nice hostel with a super friendly and helpfull host. The beds were big and comfi, the place was clean, there's a cosy garden to chill. We would definitely recommend!

Mr Noy and his wife were very helpful and nice. Left my stuff here no problem while I did the loop, hired bikes from here and Mr Noy sorted out all my transport e.g. to Green climbers home. Recommend! Clean and I met fellow travellers to do the loop here with too

Lovely wee hostel, great place to stay before the loop. We rented bikes from there for a good price and booked our onward travel too. The staff were super accommodative and friendly. Wishing them all the best! Thanks for having us.
