The hosts were very nice and friendly. They were always happy to help guests. While staying here, I got a lot of information about hiking up Altyn Arashan from them and other travelers. Here I could double check that the walking path is the jeep road as well. Very nice and good place to stay. The minibus No 350 with the sign "AK-Cyy Kypopt" departs at 7:15 am from Aktilek Bazaar Bus Station. I got on the minibus just next to the hostel at 7:23 am. I got off the minibus and started walking up at 7:50 am. I arrived at Altyn Arashan at 11:10 am I had lunch. I started walking down at 12:06 am. I arrived at the minibus stop at 15:15 pm. I got on the minibus at 15:30 pm and came back to Karakol. It took me about 8 hours, including lunch time.

This is a budget backpackers hostel ( and we are no longer backpackers )but was really good. We had a twin room which was perfectly adequate and clean. The place is made by Aizada and her husband who's name I've forgotten ( humble apologies) and their children. All really helpful/kind/fun. Just a really good vibe

Great friendly hostel with wonderful hosts full of information about activities to do in the area. A very good place for meeting other travellers. Also Jalil drove me and another traveller to Osh over 5 days after I left the hostel and he was just as good a driver and guide as he was a host

Best family run Hostel (Feels like Home❤️) in Karakol. Located very close to center, the rooms are larger, meals were great, friendly, knowledgful & helpful Host & very Budget friendly. Jalil (Host) also has In-House guides for Trekking /Horse Trek, SUV for travel etc, I booked 2 Nights but ended up staying 3😊, There is a Inbuilt Sauna too for a fees, Will definitely will be going back soon😊✌️

Jalil and his family were wonderful! We really enjoyed our time with them. It is a small hostel and you get to share the kitchen with the family which makes way for good talks. It is possible to buy cheap dinner from jalils wife (who is an excellent chef)

Our room in second and third night, was beside the kitchen and public area, so was a bit noisy sometimes specially in early morning, but it wasn't a big problem.

Very lovely place with helpful staff. People come to Karakol for trekking in the nature, therefore the staff have very good connections with trekking organizations, transporters and ... so everybody can arrange a good hike with their help. they can arrange transport to Karakol valley and reserve Yurt if you want to do the Ala-Kul trekking. Rooms and kitchen facilities are good. Located in a good, safe and calm place.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at, they make you feel like part of their family. Jalil and his brother helped me plan 4 day Ak Suu Highlights and loaned me their personal gear. They’re a great family and it’s a comfortable hostel that feels like home. Great wifi, free tea and snacks always available. Breakfast is great.

You need to walk a little to get to the center of Karakol.

Nice family and clean and comfortable rooms. They rent out stuff for hikes, that was convenient. Helped organize transport for the trek.

The hostel and room is very clean and comfortable. Overall the whole atmosphere is very welcoming. The owners are very friendly. We can also recommend the dinner (300som) and breakfast (200som). We came back 3 times after our tours in jeti-öguz and jyrgalan.

Friendly hostel. The owners are nice, speak English and Spanish among other languages and they also provide taxi services to go to ala kul national park. Comfy beds.
