Great hostel. Seems very new and is very clean. The staff are lovely. We were able to do laundry too. Private room was very comfortable and really good shower. Close to the bus station and a 30 minute walk to the main sights. Lots and lots of great restaurants and cafes really near. We have already booked another night here when we return to Bishkek.

Nothing! I just wish they'd add a bucket in the toilet :) Ps. To those who commented abt the unavailability of the staff, dont worry, they are only a call away. The note about where you can find them + contact number is also written clearly in the front desk. Also, the prayer call isnt a minus for me, on the contrary, I love it. That reminds me of home.

Everything, facilities are complete, from the water till fully equipped kitchen. but above all my fav part is that the people there treated us as humans. I think those people there are among the ones who do business not just for the shake of profit only. They are genuinely kind hearted. We arrived very early in the morning after a long nite ride, they allowed us to check in coz room's just available. That was 6 am in the morning. U wont find this in 90% of the business. Also, the staff added an extra portable heater to our room, having learned that the weather was colder than the past few weeks. We were also allowed to leave our luggages for couple of hours after checking out, and they didnt just leave them somewhere unattended but stored them in a room. They deserve the Premium Hostel in town title for their service. Will certainly recommend the place to all my fellow travelers.

We loved the stay at Muras, we got a quadruple room meant to be a shared one just for ourselves, the price was great. Our beds were comfortable, the place was clean and the receptionist was very kind. It was a bit tricky to reach the place because google maps and maps me shows a different location.

I recently stayed at Muras Hostel and was pleasantly surprised by my stay. The hotel is in a great location with scenic views and easy access to everything you need. The staff at Muras Hotel was very friendly and helpful. They were always ready to help and answered all our questions. The room was spacious, cozy and clean. A comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom created a comfortable atmosphere. In general, I recommend Muras Hostel to anyone who is looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay. Helpful staff, clean rooms and great location made our stay unforgettable.

This is not a typical tourist hostel as there are no actual staff members working there. Don't expect to receive any travel information, as this place is mainly recommended for long-term stays by local or Russian guests. The 10-point comments should be added by the hostels themselves. The toilets are dirty and have mosquitoes, but guests are provided with cleaning supplies to clean them. Similar to the previous comment, there are no real staff members present, but there are some volunteers living there (who cannot speak English) that you can ask for help by accessing their resting room. It is a peculiar experience to see a couple frequently kissing each other in the lobby. They are probably the volunteers staffs, as they may not receive a salary, and it's difficult to identify who the actual staff members are. This behavior is inappropriate in a Muslim country, and it makes the guests staying there feel embarrassed (based on other guests' comments). Don't expect the so-called volunteers to be able to answer any questions, even basic check-in inquiries. They don't provide room keys, which can be a safety concern. It seems like they expect you to already know this, so they may be surprised if you ask for a room key. They don't even inform you about your assigned bed number, making everything confusing. If you insist, they may provide locker keys, but they will be displeased and disappointed. They may also replace some items inside the locker (which are usually meant for staying guests) that were originally used by the volunteer workers living there. I highly discourage non-Russian speakers from staying there, as there may be concerns regarding the safety of your money. I have traveled to many hostels during my six-month journey, and I never given a zero rating to this hostel, which I booked through Booking.com, even though I usually give 10 points as encouragement to hotel owners, regardless of whether the experience is good or not.

On multiple occasions we had trouble finding someone at reception. We had to wait 10-15 minutes and then he only appeared once someone else noticed us and called him. He was a LOVELY guy, but it was unusual to stay at a hostel where it was difficult to find someone for assistance. That’s my only issue, otherwise it was great.

Clean, modern and comfortable, this small little hostel is great.
