Shower was a little compact for tall people but a very minor issue.

Ludmilla was such a welcoming host! So helpful and accommodating. Lovely place with cute garden area, a fantastic and generous breakfast in a lovely room with a chalet vibe. Excellent Value. Great wifi, and laundry service available. Secure parking also available - and for a very reasonable fee, we were able to leave our car there during our hike.

Our bathroom did not seem to have a ventilation system, nor a window so it always smelled a bit mouldy. A night lamp next to the beds could be helpful!

Ludmila is the kindest and most helpful host! Possibility to have laundry done and have a good breakfast for a very reasonable price. Beautiful garden to relax in! Basic but neat rooms with everything you need.

there was nothing I disliked.

the room was comfortable and clean, and the property was quiet, so I slept well. It is situated very close to the Center, about a 5/10 minute walk, so you can reach shops and restaurants easily. The staff are very friendly and helpful: they helped organise a taxi and we’re prepared to cook my breakfast at 6am before I started trekking. They also have very cute cats.

The owner Ludmila and Vasil were amazing, very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The place was clean, spacious, had lovely chill out area, very close to the town centre. Unfortunately our children got ill and needed to go to hospital. Vasil stayed with us the whole time helping to translate, which was from 2.30 in the night till 12 pm next day. Ludmila cooked the most amazing breakfast and food and always making sure everyone is happy. Our children 7 and 10 loved the hotel, especially the garden area. The generosity and kindness was way beyond expectations. We would definitely recommend to stay here and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Ludmila and Vasil for everything you did and for taking such a good care of us.

Very friendly host, who arranged an English speaking taxi driver for day trips and made me stay a second night in the best room. Very cosy house in the Centre of Karakol. I wish I stayed longer to see more of the surrounding scenery.

Few blocks away from the bus station, but that’s okay for me because the house located in a very quiet neighborhood, I had a serene stay. :)

Walking distance to the park, supermarket, about 10 minutes walk to EcoTrek where you can info about your hike and rent equipments/gears. I stayed here before and after my hike to Ala-Kul, did laundry at the house after my hike. Aunt Luda was very helpful and warm! She feels like real family member to me. She helped me called for a taxi to the bus station on the last day. She speaks some English but there was never problems in communication,her son, Varsia speaks very good English. There was a cute cat, Marfa with her 3 babies! :) the house feels like you are in the nature, made from wooden cabin, with tall trees in the middle, the kitchen where you can make tea/coffee. I really like this house and had amazing stay here! Will stay again if I get to visit Karakol.

The host Ludmila . She was completely drunk and sleeping. After several minutes of waiting outside the gate and continously ringing the bell she finally came out and opened the gate,We didn't get any support throughout the stay , we managed ourselves for the whole night by closing the main gate ,main door at night and switch off areal lights at the guest house . We had booked two rooms .In one of the rooms, the room heater was not working and it was freezing cold. The four of us managed to stay in a single room. In the morning when we discussed about the discomfort with her she responded rudely and send some unparlimentary sort of message later.She told us to get out even before the normal check out time and we had to hurry up in packing our things and leaving.

Creaky floors, old and broken facilities, not very clean. It is not a hotel but more like poorly maintained hostel.

At the time of booking, we were unable to aquire a 2 person room. As it was, we were in a four person room , so it felt very full with furniture.

Nice cozy feel to the place. Loved hearing the birds sing in trees on property outside my window. We were very pleased for the taxi arrangement when we had to leave. Excellent driver, comfortable car. Tasty breakfast choices.

the mattress on double bed was completely worn out.the springs had going it collapsed into a hollow that was hard and painful with metal digging into body. there was two pieces of broken wood panel under mattress to stop person and mattress fall through to floor. the linen was for a much smaller bed and did not cover sides or bottom of mattress. the rooms were very cold. two portable heats both did not help. they both made terrible loud fan noise. the bathroom/toilet was as cold as if you were outside in the -17C weather.

Be careful during the payment to pay the correct amount agreed on booking , as she may overprice you as she did to me ( even if it is couple of dollar ) integrity is key The owner ( reception ) was often close and she was not often here so if you need something or have a problem you might have to wait for a while ...
