Water pressure, facilities needs updating, Being put in a noisy room when there for a workshop, the food got really boring after a few days of eating the same/similar food. Got sick from the food one evening. The commission and disparity and lack of flexibility between the service provider and booking.com.

Dinner was fair, could have varied a little. Room - first room noisy got not sleep but was a nice room, second room same rate was poky, small no balcony or view, shower pressure was bad, but at least could sleep without listening to the blaring entertainment till very late at night

Not much to complain about.

Well maintained even though the rooms were a bit tired. But there are plans to update the rooms soon. Really nice staff. Having three pools was great. Kids had a great time. And all the adults had a relaxing time. Staff kept the hotel clean.

The hotel has a meal theme everyday but the theme seems to be a light touch ie 75% of the meals would be the same and 25% or less speaking to the theme . Expanding the options on the snack menu would be great

Whilst I was checking out, there was drinks put onto my bill, which I did not consume. Took some time to sort out.

Overall rooms were good size, comfortable bed. Great choice of food and service was very good. Excellent views of the ocean

The staff were fantastic…courteous, helpful and friendly. The room we had directly overlooked the sea, and was in a very peaceful area of the hotel. The meals were excellent, whether in the main buffet area or in the Italian or Seafood restaurants The number of large swimming pools was excellent. You could always find one to fit your mood - peaceful, beachfront relaxing or fun with pool games.

There has been no Prawns on the buffet menu, this is our 5th vist staying at the hotel, and still no prawns. My room service of mix sea food I ordered had no shrimps. There are many tiny ants in the room that appear on counter table after having tea. Room need to be fumigated.

My room was very nice, and housekeeping good but the only criticism was the bathroom..although always clean it definitely needed refurbishing with chipped basin, tiles missing in shower and soap dish cracked….not in keeping with the rest of hotel and definitely not up to 4+ star resort expectations

The bedroom facilities are old and could do with refreshing - the shower and toilet outdated and not very clean - too many unnecessary cushions on the bed - unless they are very clean, leave them out!

Breakfast, lunch & Dinner were exceptional. Service staff were warm and professional. Special thanks to Margaret and Aphinias ( I am sorry if the spelling is wrong) who always went out of their way to ensure we were well catered for - friendly yet professional.

Access to the beach is via several flights of stairs. The railing is a basic rope ! On one side only of the stairs ! . My elderly father was struggling as there was no solid hand rail to hold on to. The beach here has a lot of coral so going into the sea for a swim,you can easily slip on the moist coral and fall in. No effort has been made to make access to the sea easier even for able bodied people. The last steps,if you manage to get down the first three flights of stairs is damaged so if you slip,then good luck at trying to find something to hold on to.

Bar staff, especially Kamanda, Livingstone,Raymond were very good. They remembered our regular order and made an effort to get some peanuts, cashew nuts,crisps as I like to munch on something with a beer. I don't know why Mombasa hotels generally do not stock nuts at the beach bars but this is a common issue with all Mombasa beach hotels and you have to ask for them.
