Automatic slamming of doors of neighbouring rooms was a bit annoying, but could not hear any noise from neighbours. It would be great if breakfast time could be extended to 11am (instead of 10am), especially on weekends

I got a room with bay view, amazing views and spacious. The bed is super-comfortable and you can get room kade up in the afternoon if you oversleep. It was 5-min to put on running shoes and be on the seaside for jogging more than 10 km (forth and back) without crossing a single road. The city center with restaurants and drinking places is less than 20 min on foot

Incredible and iconic hotel overlooking Yokohama. If you get the chance to, stay here! Old school luxury and lots of attention to detail. Perfect location for exploring Yokohama. Try to get a room on one of the upper floors to experience the glass elevator going up and the views over the city.

some staff were not as helpful. Also this is a well known international hotel with a long history, I was surprised that the concierge staff on the 1st floor was not able to speak English (or barely) and not very helpful

the buffet breakfast was fantastic! The coffee was a bit weak though, including the dripping coffee in the room

The restaurants in the hotel were very expensive. I would have liked to have breakfast at the hotel but the price of the buffet (all they offered) was unreasonable. Since there was a refrigerator in the room, I was able to purchase food at a convenience store to have for breakfast but I would have preferred to eat in the hotel restaurant. Restaurants in the area opened at 11:00 am. Very close by is the Queen Mall with more reasonable restaurants for lunch/dinner and the Family Mart convenience store.

This is a beautiful hotel in a very good location in Yokohama. It was the last hotel to be built in an odd shape in Yokohama. This type of architecture is no longer allowed. The hotel itself is a wonderful site to see and inside it is surely grand. I had a harbor view and it was lovely day and night. I imagine the city view would be beautiful as well because the ferris wheel and the city light up at night. There are plenty of amenities including toothbrush & toothpaste, razors, a lovely Moonpearl Skin Care Set (Mikimoto Cosmetics). The room was immaculately clean with white sheets and several pillows of different sizes and textures so anyone can sleep comfortably. I prefer to not have my room cleaned every day but each evening I called the reception for 2 bottles of water (complementary) and they were brought to my room within minutes. The entire city of Yokohama is walkable from the hotel. For those on a cruise, this hotel is easily walkable to Shinko Pier (Hammerhead). With luggage, it is a bit of a walk to Osanbashi Cruise Terminal but doable. Daikoku Pier is on the other side of the bridge and you will need transportation to that terminal.

the seating for breakfast got very crowded on weekends so we had to wait in line. more seating is needed. do not that that sway you tho, this place is the best.

the room was comfy and spacious. the view was amazing. the breakfast was great with loads of choices. The pastries were so good. the location was so close to the cruise ship , we just walked right over. it was also so close to public transportation. we went to Tokyo several days and it was fairly easy even tho we had never been there before. also lots of shops and things to do nearby. definitely go to the maritime museum and see the Nippon Maru. it's very close and interesting. we had an amazing afternoon tea with a strawberry theme which was fun, colorful, and delicious. friendly and helpful staff also. we were able to get a bus straight to the airport. either airport. ive never seen things go so smoothly.

Absolutely stunning hotel, very grand entry and foyer. Enjoyed having a nice relaxing drink at the bar after check-in. Was super happy to see this hotel has a pillow menu and therefore their beds were super comfortable, very happy. We ordered room service and were very happy with the staff and service, delicious breakfast. Wish we had planned to stay here longer as we really liked the comfy beds, great value for money.

View, location were amazing. Our first room was messy, didn't seem to have been cleaned properly and was stains etc everywhere. After a complaint they upgraded and gave us a free breakfast. Incredible service!!

Nothing to dislike here!

This hotel is in a perfect location - walking distance to sight-seeing locations, restaurants, shopping malls and transport. Rooms are excellent with fantastic views. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. Hotel can arrange airport transfers from hotel to Narita and Haneda airports which is very handy.

I was forced to extend my stay by 2 days because of flight strikes. These two days were more than 2,5 times as expensive. I felt a bit like my emergency situation was being taken advantage of.

Nice, clean, noble hotel in good location. Very good connection to airport.
