Sadly our never got cleaned during our stay. I asked about it and it was clearly some miscommunication amount the staff.

It was quiet, no traffic noises only the sound of the sea and the music in the background.

The food was expensive for what it was. The breakfast that was included was OK but the other meals off the menu was a bit basic for the cost.

Setting was nice. Location was 10 mins drive from the centre. It had a small private beach. The room was nice and big with a balcony overlooking the sea

Issue with bugs and using smoke to get rid of them left a smell in my room on the first night.

The beach at the front of hotel. It was small and narrow strip of sand left.

Very good breakfast. Spacious and sound proof rooms. Nice view from balcony.

The gatekeepers at the beach adjacent to the property told us we couldn't stay on that side of the beach unless we paid.

The king rooms on the first floor are great. Sand and Tan is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the sound of the sea while you sleep. The property's location is also a plus; it is not far from the town.

The place was really dodgy and not too clean overall. It all needs to be renovated really badly!

Right on the beach, I booked it just for it’s position, but the surrounding area is a bit sketchy. Room was big. It was nice to be able to have dinner and drinks on your own balcony.

This lovely hotel was the cheapest in Ocho Rios right next to the sea and it is visible everywhere in the hotel. There is no luxury anywhere. For sleeping it is more than sufficient. A bed is big and perfect for sleeping, not soft, not hard. The staff is very friendly, with typical Jamaican English :) The staff here is a hotel treasure We choose only breakfast included and it is served from 7:30 Jamaican time (this means sometimes 7:45, sometimes 8:00 you will able to tell your order) Menu includes eggs for many variances. Rarely is available bacon :). Fruit is just two small pcs. For dinner is possible to go out, just a 5-minute walk, or to order right in the hotel. For coconuts we can recommend a small shop next to the road and petrol station, there are friendly women with lots of coconuts 6 times cheaper. Activities are expensive here. Snorkeling on the hotel beach does not make sense, visibility is sometimes almost zero, at the best time 2 meters max. You can order local fishermen to take you to another place like Reagge Beach is for snorkeling. If you order someone from the local fishing village, you will pay a lot instead of catching some fisherman from another town crossing the hotel pier. Taxi to town you can use from the local fisherman's village for 30 USD every person, or walk on the coastal Highway (7min walks) and in the petrol station wave on a taxi and you will be charged 2USD to 5USD. Visiting Jamaica in December is not a good choice because of the rough sea with low visibility and a lot of rain. the country is beautiful but full of rubbish everywhere

The hotel is in a hidden alley mouth, but there is no billboard to guide the route, originally left one minute to arrive, the result is lost, I hope the hotel in the navigation of the second gas station intersection to increase the hotel sign, in order to facilitate guests to find the route to the hotel

The staff had a great attitude,Breakfast was delicious,Comfortable room environment.

The other half of the hotel that is in disrepair is ugly. The road in needs some patching. Those potholes are a little too much.

It's right on the beach. That is so hard to find in Ochi. The food is really good. The Feta Bruschetta is so good. Red Stripes at the Sunset Bar. The sound of the waves right outside your door. The river just next door. The Fisherman's village people. The Jamaican breakfast option everyday. The staff are all great. The price is great.

The place is a bit run down. Apparently the second half of the hotel is closed down and they modified the operational part to have a small restaurant. Room was spacious and the view from the balcony was great! Toilet did not flush properly even after asking twice to fix it. Probably they did half-magic as it did work for a while. Staff is not particularly happy or service oriented. Food quality is hit and miss. The seafood pasta was very good but others could have a lot to improve.

The hotel was immediately next to the beach and the hotel has a small private beach

    Bathroom is a little outdated.

Beach front rooms, listen to the waves while you’re in bed. The food from the restaurant is great. Free use of the stand up paddleboards was a nice extra.
