Staff asking for more money after checkout! Very persistent after we said no!

The staff were rude. The attend to the whites more. If you go at the bar and place on order once a white person walk up , attend to them first. They are more pleasant to the whites. For example I said a lifeguard for help, then I told him thanks, he said nothing one second later he did something for the whites they said thank you , he said you are welcome I got you. I sat there in stock.

The food was great, and the pool was great. And the lobby was beautiful.

Food options limited between 5-6pm. After walking around I was able to find sushi and some sandwiches. Also found their 24hr cafe with yummy chocolate.

The food is excellent. The rooms are clean. The layout for all the food options very conveniently positioned. Amenities were great: robe, chocolate, flat iron, blow dryer. Staff is amazing. Now I have to tell you about Chef Otis from the Pier 8 restaurant, exceptional personalised service and made the best steak ever. He visited with us as we were celebrating a birthday, even participated in singing for us. Davian in main dining. Service with class from Alwayne in the Gondola restaurant. Tavia and Gabrielle from public relations took care of our decorations and cake.Odane was so accommodating at the Spa. Kenisha Brown booked our spa treatment and even called to ensure all was well. I cannot recall a time I interfaced with so many wonderful people. Definitely a cut above the rest! Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Cons: horrible check in process. After a long travel day of turbulent storms we had to wait 1 hour standing in line to check into our room, customers at the desk were having all kinds of issues like not bringing their credit card they booked with or not booking enough reservations for their room, which was not the staff’s fault but they could have a normal check in line and a “need more help” line to streamline things, the person in line behind us summed it up as “aggravating” to wait an hour to check in after coming from a turbulent flight and 2 hour bus ride. Once we reached the front our check in took a couple of minutes, but 1 hour to wait after a long day of travel. It was a concerning way to start the trip and set the tone badly. Other huge con: the music and base from the music at the nearby club went until 5 AM, it was horrible. While it wasn’t a club from the property, we had an early departure, and it was really awful to be kept up until 5 AM by very loud shaking music.

Pros: Clean, well maintained property. I loved the spa, friendly staff.

Check in was long, room allocated had an awful view of the roof, could smell burnt fat from the balcony - we had to escalate the issue to a manager in order to be allocated an alternative room. The staff in the pizza/sushi restaurant were rude, customer service was non existent. Hotel is on the edge of Ocho Rios, some evenings loud music could be heard until 2/3am. Upgrades needed in certain areas - kids pool tiles lifting off, some areas are worn/tired. Hotel is possibly a 4* , not worth the price tag, on par with RIU.

The choice of restaurants and bars were great. Beach location is great, the beach is beautiful. Good selection of water sports.

The food, Pier 8 everything was either burnt,.salty or over crispy...surely they'd recognize something was from the amount of food left on the plates. Other items sampled was either salty or bland.

The property is well kept, fairly clean and well laid out The staff was pleasant and ready to assist, From checking in to checking out. The SPA!!!! From Shamada welcoming us to our Masseuse Jordy and Shanieka..The Spa was the highlight of our trip. Looking forward to visiting the spa again.

Needs towel drop baskets, many poolside and beachside chairs filled with used towels. Hard to find a chair to sit on, so many had no people, just full of used towels.

We booked a king bed and got 2 double beds. Then they pushed them together, but there was a lamp on the wall in the middle of the beds and I hit my head on it… when we asked for a room with a king they didn’t have one available until the next day but the view didn’t look at the water. Water had lots of sea weed Probably won’t stay again as it was a bit out of our budget. Too bad because it was awesome!

This hotel is in my top 5, the staff members were super friendly and welcoming, the food was great. I definitely got value for my money; There were a lot of engaging activities. The hotel is beautiful and I would love to go back.

I was told because I used Booking.com the transportation that is advertised everywhere on their website and yours that is supposed to be inclusive was not. I had to pay $45 per person round-trip to get transportation. And many of the restaurants were out of steaks, Fish, specialty items on the menu.

It was a great location for teenage kids, which is exactly. A large family vacation with six adults and six children. The Flo Rider, and wired lounge were a big hit.

All activities booked via the hotel using the included resort credits require paying 16% of the prices, so that adds to the price. Also, the activities also have limited times so somethings only happen two or three times a week so if you're staying less than a week you need to check which days when certain activities are happening before committing to a booking. While I reserved a cancellable/refundable room with the payment date a few days before check in (and paid extra for it) the hotel still charged the full amount more than 2 weeks before the cancellation period.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right on the beach which makes accessing the ocean super easy. There were enough food choices to keep me interested in trying new places and dishes. The shuttle to the airport in Kingston was convenient and the driver was super friendly.

I didn't think I get my money worth for 3 day cause I came in late for my check in so I was expecting to check out Monday the 2 Oct cause I couldn't check in earlier because of the room wasn't ready until after 3 so basically I didn't spend as much time to enjoy my 3 full day I would say I get 2 and half day unfortunately

Well the breakfast was really good with variety of food which I acceptable so the restaurants was good and I like the water park for kids the pools was amazing
