Food was phenomenal, all the restaurants, buffet meals, jerk shacks were really delicious and well done. The staff were really helpful, pleasant and entertaining. Very relaxing stay, room conformable. Small things like umbrellas around the property were noticed and appreciated.

There was a terrible perfume smell in the hallways obviously trying to disguise a bad smell, hall ice machine did not work bc of hygiene - yuck Also very little hot water in shower

Hard to find the restaurant

The staff was great and very welcoming. They where able to upgrade my room because it was my Birthday , to a swim out king suite . The food was the best I've had at resorts. Drinks were amazing, and service was great . This place is massive in size due to it having 2 sides an adult side and family side. The pool bar on the family side seem more active and fun.

We stayed in building #3 (Ziva Hall) and the shower almost burned us alive. It constantly went from ice cold to burning hot which made it basically worthless. I mentioned this upon checking out and was told something like, 'Oh, yes... we have that issue with that entire building.'. We reserved and paid for an Ocean View King Suite and got a room that faced the open courtyard with a partial ocean view but mostly a view of a stage. Especially considering that we reserved this room 9 months in advance, this was disappointing to say the least. I was expecting a room with a direct ocean view as the pictures showed on the Hyatt website. Room service was not consistent and took over 6 hours to bring bottled water up to the room one day. We quickly learned that it was faster to walk up to them main lobby and just get it ourselves. We went to the lobby area the day before we were to check out and fly home and asked about a shuttle service to the airport. We were told to be in the lobby the next morning at 8:45 AM (our flight was scheduled to depart at 1:09 PM - the lady said that we must leave the hotel 4 hours prior to our departure) and that a shuttle would be there to take us to the airport at 9 AM. However, when we did arrive the next morning and checked out promptly at 8:45 AM, we we told that there was no shuttle available for us (we were told this AFTER we paid for the shuttle service upon checkout and mentioned that it was reserved for 9 AM). To try and figure out where the disconnect was, I went back to the same desk that I had made the shuttle reservations the previous day, I was then greeted by an impatient woman who clearly did not want to help me and who made it seem that I was lying and that she would have to 'check her system' for the notes of my previous conversation. For these reasons, I will never go back to the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall. With so many options to choose from and for the money we paid for a 5 night stay, I expect more.

The room was nice and the staff (for the most part) were also very nice. The location was excellent and the pools were great. it was a very relaxing and welcoming environment. Everything was within walking distance.

The food was not good at most restaurants. That was the only negative about the resort, which really put a damper on enjoying the evening. some food was bland and other bus way over salted. Many selections were overcooked and limp. Breakfast was pretty good at the Calypso as was the hamburgers. the pork jerk was consistently tasty but frequently served with nothing but bones and fat as a indiscriminately through some on the plate. Drinks were good.

It was in a nice location on the beach with lovely pool facility and wonderful staff.

We would have liked to have done more excursions but most weren’t available on the weekend.

We enjoyed the catamaran sailing and their staff. The restaurants were exceptional,! We enjoyed the Rose Hall Great House Haunted excursion a lot. It was educational, interesting, and entertaining. We also enjoyed the Luminous waters excursion.

We did not specifically request a quiet room. We did tell them that it was our anniversary, and were pleased that a bottle of champagne was in our room when we arrived. Food was great! Staff always friendly and helpful.

Entertainment was very lacking. We had on a Saturday night a DJ party with headphones with 2 channels. One reggae and one rap. The reggae channel was "ok" and the other channel was dreadful. No nightclub or bar. At least it made for an early night There was show with singing and music they had beforehand but it was very short.. entertaining though

Property and surroundings - beautiful Food and selection - Very good Pool area - Very nice to look at. Staff pleasant. No shortage of towels or anything that you would experience at other resorts Checkin - seamless and the lady that checked us in was fantastic (name started with a K..). Helpful, fast, extremely nice, genuine.

The room was great really beautiful Desmond and team was really great big shout out to Shana Kay from the Italian the pool bar staff always keep checking to see if we need anything. Big thanks to all the staff my family was really happy. We will return .
