There wasn’t much of anything to dislike.

Mountains on one side, ocean on the other. This quaint little cabin was a well needed taste of the countryside after being in the city for 3 days.

This place was ideal! The wooden floors and walls gave a cozy asthetic that made our stay better! The had free coffee for us to enjoy, which we did with a beautiful view. Highly recommend!!

The bedroom with the larger bed was very tight. My tall son had to sleep in the corner of the bed so his feet would not hang off the end.

We loved the kitchen and entrance space. The outside views were great.

Perfect cabin for four people, surprisingly spacious inside. We were met by the owner who was very personable and explained everything about the cabin to us. We were very lucky and got to see the Northern Lights, it was wonderful to be so secluded yet just a short distance from Vik and all its attractions. Definitely recommend!

The only issue was that there were no laundry facilities. I guess this is common for most facilities.

The hostess was there to meet us when we pulled up. This was great, because we were not able to make phone calls, as requested.

Maybe we weren’t sure how to do it right, but it would be cool to turn off the outside lights off to search for northern lights.

Nice location about 15 minutes outside of Vik! Very cozy. Nice host. Loved renting from a local family.

Again it was its location that caused him to become difficult to find when we arrived at night. I arrived this time when it was already completely dark and raining heavily. I couldn't see the road or the house in the distance at all. If it wasn't for the fact that I've been here once before, I bet I would have never found this B&B. Because the navigation won't navigate to the right place, at least waze does. It is highly recommended to stay before dark.

This was my second stay at this B&B and he was still as spacious and clean as ever, the kitchen was well equipped and the isolation was great.

Could do with some new cleaning materials like sweeping brush in the house just so guests can keep things tidy during their stay. Rooms are very small which was manageable for our group but something to be aware of if you are coming with lots of luggage. We didn't have much and it still spilled out into the living area a bit.

This location could not be more perfect. Cute little homes are clustered together at foot of large mountains all around and 15-20min drive from some of Iceland's beautiful black sand beaches. It's an ideal location for exploring this area and also suited us as a base for exploring a bit further east too. The process is quite hands off and we just checked in by phone on arrival and were directed to our holiday home and door key. Same for checking out. WiFi was great in a remote area where our own data coverage was not strong and we had a TV with plenty of movie options for a snowy night in.

Some basic ingredients in the kitchen would be useful, e.g. oil.

Nice place isolated from the civilization, in can be very nice in summer where you can use the porch and grill. The kitchen has coffee machine.

Honestly, one of the best accommodations I've ever been to in Iceland. The cottage is big, especially the living room, it has everything, the toilet does is job. One of the 2 rooms is actually pretty small but you won't ever realize it considering the scenery you're in.

The host was quick to respond to any question and to assist at check in. The cabin has a fantastic view and was very comfortable. It's close to Vik and to other sights worth visiting.
