Shared bathroom ( with 1 other yurt) may not be for everyone and it was a cold walk in middle of the night!

Lovely quirky accommodation. Cosy with heat pump and wood burner. Breakfast was excellent

Directions to the yurts were a little difficult. They gave a good description but signs would be better

Very secluded and quiet at night. Nice Viking theme and warm on a cold night. A nice breakfast was provided and delivered to our yurt.

I have no complaints. The Yurt was immaculate. The host was kind, patient and very accomodating. Appreciate everything Rick did to make us comfortable.

The breakfast arrived warm in a basket and there was a wonderful selection of foods, coffee and teas were also available in the yurt. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and was amazing.

Rick is by far one of the best hosts. Our experience in the Yurts was incredible. At all times Rick was making sure everything was perfect for us. If you are concerned for the cold, don't be! That won't be an issue - our Yurt was very warm at all times. Also, if you have any concern over the shared bathroom, dismiss them! The bathroom is in perfect condition, very clean, well tempered (and with very hot water) and odorless. Finally, the breakfast is awesome! Various delicious breads, fruits, ground coffee and more! When coming to Iceland for sure we will be returning to the Yurts. Highly recommended, you won't regret it!

Wonderfully designed and outfitted. The yurt was amazing. Rick (the host) was very friendly and super helpful. The yurt had all the amenities needed. The shared washroom was immaculate and very well equipped. The workmanship for both the yurt and the washroom was also amazing. So many exceptional details. I would highly recommend a stay here.

That we didn't stay longer.

We really liked the location, few minutes drive from Kerið Crater, the yurts are in a little forest. Really enjoyed our stay, hosts were very friendly, unique experience. Highly recommend, definitely coming back. Breakfast was amazing.

Fabulous location and yurt. Our hosts were amazing, always helping out and giving us some superb travel tips. We felt they went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Excellent breakfast as well!!

Such a warm welcome. The Yurt exceeded all expectations with how cosy it was. We had great evenings warming up at the fireplace. Also breakfast was amazing

we liked everything

Unique property, really warm and cosy. Rick the owner is very friendly and looked after us very well. The yurt had everything you would need and the bathroom outside was warm and nicely decorated. The breakfast was delivered to our door at exactly the time we asked and it was amazing, fresh eggs from the owners chickens, warm bread and much more! it was definitely one of our favourite stays in Iceland! Rick gave us very clear directions so it was very easy to find.

This was such a lovely and amazing experience, the yurt and surrounding area is beautiful but the hospitality and amazing advice is what really makes this experience stand out. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Location was a bit tricky to find. Owners should provide Google Plus Code for location.

What a delight. Very warm and cozy. Quaint with lots of interesting touches. Warm and friendly reception. Breakfast had pastries, fruit, yoghurt,eggs all delivered to our yurt.

Loved breakfast. Fresh bread' butter, yogurt,fruit coffee, tea peaceful way to start a morning. The rain o the canvas was a calming way to fall asleep after a busy day of exploration. Restaurant/ market 10 mins away.

Everyone was amazing. Rick and Jitka are exceptional boats; the yurt was incredible (big, clean and comfortable) and Iceland is a must-see place. We would highly recommend it.

Everything was truly amazing- no complaints. If you have some accessibility issues, there is a little walk to the bathroom, but this wasn’t an issue for us- even with rain.

This place was incredible! Every detail covered. We made a fire, and a little cheese board with some wine. Breakfast was incredible and delivered in a little basket to the yurt door.
