The kitchen has good facilities although it gets a bit crowded at peak times. Great location and very spacious room. Helpful tourist information on hand. Coffee vouchers to a nearby Cafe.

I didn’t have an actual key for my room, just a key ring. As I had arrived late (9.30pm) and was only staying one night, I didn’t query this and the door was lockable from the inside (assuming no one else had the key!). Had I been there for more nights I wouldn’t have been able to lock the room when I wasn’t in it (obviously I would have raised this with the owner then).

Easy to find. Good communication. Comfortable clean room and bathroom. Did not use shared areas but they looked clean and well-equipped. Able to park just outside.

It is always a pleasure to stay here. The location is ideal, especially if you are travelling around the Snaefellsnes peninsula and need a simple but well equipped place to stay. It's close to everything and the staff are lovely.

The room could probably do with some TLC as the socket for the TV was taped onto the ceiling where it had previously been damaged. The white walls near the bed were all scuffed up so could do with a fresh paint but overall it was an enjoyable stay.

This was a very nice guesthouse in Grundfjoudur which was our base for watching the northern lights and going out whale watching. The shared kitchen area had a good amount of equipment and we were quite lucky to not really run into many other guests whilst making our food. The room was pleasant and the shower was great.

Can't beat the view! Rooms weren't very big but the beds were very comfortable and the place was well managed. Kitchen very well equipped if you want to cook your own food. There were some parking spots right in front and a supermarket at walking distance.

The room was very small, even smaller than expected. The sink is in the bedroom, the bathroom (shower and toilet) is small but convenient. There is hardly any storage space for luggage, therefore if you travel with lots of stuff, this is probably not the right place to stay at.

The location is good: we had a nice view from our room on Kirkjufell mountain. Supermarket is located next door, and you can find restaurants and cafés close by. Checking in and out was quick and easy. A kitchen can be used for those who want to cook themselves or make their own breakfast. The bathroom looked newly remodeled, and the room was very clean.

no lift in the hotel, as it was a 2 storey building. those with big heavy luggage need to take note. another funny thing is the shower area in the toilet doesn't have a light source! once you close the shaded shower screen, the shower area become a bit darker.

location is just in the town. my room have a direct unobstructed view of the famous mountain! (forgot the name) . check in was simple and easy. we were left a voucher for 2 free drinks at a nearby cafe. it was a nice touch!

Great location. 2km walk to the waterfall by Kirkjufell (saving $ on parking). Really appreciated the voucher for free coffees at Valeria's! Fantastic coffee at a locale.with great decor and vibe. Check out the rooms in the basement. So cool!
