We liked everything! There was a small waterfall behind the cottage, so when we opened the window a little, we could hear that relaxing sound. The heating was excellent and the bed very comfortable. We were lucky to see the white landscape, covered with a lot of snow and the next day it had already melted so we could see the green of the mountains and meadows, a completely different landscape. It was wonderful to see the starry sky from the comfort of the small living room of the cottage thanks to its large windows. We would definitely stay here again even though it can be a bit expensive.

My only suggestion would be to have an information sheet for guests for when they arrive, particularly as this is self check-in accommodation. The owners sent a useful message prior to arriving, but an information sheet still would have been appreciated. Apart from that, we had a great stay

The cabin was very nicely organised and comfortable. The view was spectacular, and you're not far from Vik and other notable locations. The bed was soft and welcoming after a long day trekking. Definitely a great choice for accommodation in the area

The bathroom is a bit narrow, minor inconvenience.

The cottage is super clean and comfortable. We slept like babies. Small kitchen but with ample space for small meals and equipped with coffee maker. The location is very private and we were able to see so many stars on a clear night. We booked last minute during November and price was very reasonable for a great location near Vik. Wish we could have stayed longer!

wish the room had a broom. Also If i were king for the day I'd add a TV. This is really not a negative as this location was one of my favorites for the entire 2 week trip of Iceland.

awesome facilities!! Stove top with pots and pans etc. microwave, and frig for cooking. Brand new unit is great! great balcony with privacy and view of water in distance.

Shower did not get hot. Also poorly designed so that basket containing shampoo etc was in the way so couldn’t stand under water properly.

Excellent location to feel like in an isolated remote location but not too far from town of Vik. Good facilities although some of furnishings were a little cheap. Overall however a good place to stay.

The only negative about this place was the water was cold. No matter how long we let the water run in the shower it would never fully heat up past lukewarm. With that being said, I would definitely stay at this location again.

The cottage was absolutely adorable in a beautiful location with views all around. It was very clean and very warm and inviting. Check in was easy. Check out was easy. The owner met us at the cottage to check us in late at night in the cold. She was super sweet and welcoming!

The lock was faulty on the front door but it didn't bother us as we knew how safe the country is! We did tell the host at Check out and they were happy to fix!

The location, view, cleanliness, the serenity, layout of the cottage and the list continues! If you get lucky and have clear skies during the aurora Borealis months then you'll be able to get some great photos! Highly recommend! No need for phones as you can sit in the from of the cottage and just admire the view! 10min drive to Vik and Black sand beach!

That we had to leave so soon!

Loved this little hut/cabin. A great experience waking up to the black sand beach views, incredible sunrise/sunsets as the front wall of the cabin is glass, the back view is a mountain with sheep and a little fresh water spring. Gorgeous setting and a very unique experience as opposed to staying in a hotel. Loved it. Extremely convenient for Vik and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend. And parking was available - which costs a bomb in the City.

WiFi was not available. It was not a deal breaker as we knew it at the time of booking. It would have been nice to have additional racks or hooks for clothes

Exceeded my expectations with location, view, privacy, cottage kitchenette amenities (utensils, crockery, salt and pepper), comfort of the cottage and bed. There were even cream biscuits in the cupboard which we loved so much. Vik village is just a short drive away from the cottage. Definitely coming back here again.

We stayed for 3 nights and would have appreciated more room to hang or put clothes , extra trash bags, and a broom or something to clean floor. We missed an internet connection.

Location was great, easy to find and central to south. Cottage was new and well appointed.

There is no place to put your belongings (luggage, bags etc) but we used the chairs in the front to put out stuff. It just made the place look a little messy but it was ok.

The location was perfect! Very close to Vik and the black beach! Also, the amenities were awesome for such a small and cute cottage! Loved the balcony with the view!!!
