I was in a dormitory on 1st floor, but the baths were all downstairs or in the basement. They also charged 200ISK for terrible coffee from a machine.

The kitchen was fantastic, I mostly spent my time there during my stay.

The old hospital is a fantastic building, old but very well kept. The kitchen is large and well-furnisched. The position at the border of the nice village is perfect.

We realy enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are simple but all we needed was there. The atmosphere of building is good and there is a relaxed vibe. The kitchen and sitting room attached is where everybody joined together adn where we had some nice conversations. I would definitly come back here 👍

This is not a complaint because I find this happens in a lot of accommodation. I am allergic to perfume and the bedding smelled nice but very strongly and it affected my asthma. Again not a complaint because it was a fantastic hostel.

A fantastic hostel in a great location. We were in room 12 which was a double with bathroom and a view of the mountains. There were great facilities including a sauna and we were able to stay until the boat left despite having checked out. We thought it was the best hostel we have stayed in. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Seydisfjordur. Thank you to the owners and staff.

The property was incredibly well maintained and clean. For a hostel, It was luxuriously comfortable with comfortable beds, provided towels, amazing showers, a laundry service and even a sauna. The kitchen was amazing, it had all the amenities one needs and the quality of the amenities was excellent.

Very small bathrooms but operationally, something that make us have a bad impression is the following. I understand that we are in a hostel, but in any case, because we did not know or understand that at check out we had to remove the sheets and take them to the laundry, the hotel staff should not speak in a strict and impolite way to the customer. As we just figured it out of course we did it directly when they informed us.

Clean and cosy rooms with very nice mattress, The hostel was big with parking and close to every spot near the city!!!! The common spaces was very nice… Surely a nice choice for your stay!!!

Ask for a room upstairs, we were by the kitchen/front door so it was a tad noisy.

Check was easy, staff friendly. The bedroom was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well organised with lockers for dry food. There was coffee available for purchase in the morning. Bathrooms were amazing, there were loads of showers which were super powerful (the best on our 2 week trip) and the sauna was an added bonus!

Everyone was crowded in kitchen during morning 8AM. There should be more operational hot plates/stove in kitchen (atleast 5) to avoid crowd in kitchen. The coffee machine was not working in morning.

Kitchen was clean and big with all required equipment. We didn't used spa but it was operational. Room was ok. Bunkbed was comfortable. Bathroom and toilets were clean. Self check-in was smooth. Free parking space for car.

All is good except we could not find a washing machine capsules in shared kitchen after we finished our dinner. Staffs seems forgot to prior in a shared kitchen for guests
