The lodge is outstanding. It has excellent amenities, highlighting the bed whose mattress is ultra comfortable, and the full kitchen that has all kinds of utensils and appliances. The decor and layout is perfect and we especially loved the window on the roof of the attic. If we ever visit Iceland again we will definitely repeat in this accommodation.

There isn't a cooker in the kitchen which would be an issue for some people staying. It wasn't for us as we planned ahead.

Absolutely amazing spot in southern Iceland. Perfect for exploring the coast and wonderful to come back to. Perfect for some Northern Light spotting as there's no light pollution. We really enjoyed a relaxing stay and would 100% stay again.

Wish the rooms were slightly bigger.

I liked everything. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Had only one concern and it was resolved immediately. Breakfast was amazing! If ever I come back to Iceland, would definitely book again.

We stayed at this place on two occasions, on the first occasion there was heavy snowfall and it was a bit of a task to get the car to the cabin, however for our second stay the snow had been cleared from the road and wasn't much of a issue.

Lovely cabin and great place to spend a night near the seljalandsfoss waterfall and hunt for northern lights. Everything you need is availble including coffee machine, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery.

The loft is pretty small and more meant for kids than two adults. Adults can’t stand up straight in that area.

The loft bed was very cramped for a tall teenage son. Having a kitchenette was great, but for clarity, know that there is no oven, the stovetop is small (and took a long while to boil water), and there is no ventilation above the stovetop which does limit what you can cook. We also had a lot of difficulty with the keypad door lock that involved multiple calls to the (very helpful) staff to unlock or override.

We loved it and we intend to come back. Having said that, what would have made it 10 out of 10 is an outside hot tub and an electric charging station for the car.

Beautiful Scandi designed cottage in an excellent location - it feels wild and remote but is around the corner from many stellar sightseeing spots. Lovely interiors and with its giant windows a perfect place to watch the Northern Lights. Breakfast was exceptional, I’m still dreaming about the doughnuts.

There are two bedrooms, one being a loft upstairs and one downstairs. The loft is tight and thus this would be better for one couple or perhaps one couple and two children. It is tight for two adult couples.

Lovely modern cabin adjacent to multiple waterfalls on Highway one. Technically two bedrooms and one bathroom although a bit tight for two couples. Full Kitchenette. Delicious delivered breakfast.
