We loved the location and how easy it was to explore the city. It felt very safe and close to various shops, restaurants, and museums. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. We loved walking at the lake and harbor in the evening, too. The bus system picks up right in front of the hotel, which made for easy excursions. The staff was very helpful and courteous, and we felt well-cared for. The breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant also offers excellent dinner options. We will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends.

Parking is a pain. You have to constantly pay for on street parking in different zones around the hotel. Local App is good but parking charges are from 9am and you have to remember when you wake up. At weekends you might have to park a good walk from the hotel. Bit of an obsession with checking if you are eligible for breakfast. This went on for a few days. Our room was too hot, we had to have the window open all the time which given the main road location and the noisy studded tyres on cars this meant broken sleep most nights

Location is perfect, right in the heart of Reykjavik. Reception staff and most of restaurant staff were very friendly Hotel is nice and quiet, rooms are good and the bathrooms excellent

it's a new hotel, clean and modern. Breakfast is the same daily, but pretty decent. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. close to multiple bus stops, and next to the beautiful lake.

Lovely staff, upgraded our room to a suite when I mentioned it was my husband's birthday. The buffet breakfast is excellent. We also dined in the restaurant for dinner and the food and service were exceptional. The decor of the hotel is very stylish. Location perfect for the old town and cathedral.

It’s an immaculately kept hotel with very modern amenities. Very comfortable beds and great sound proofing which is great for an in town hotel. Walking distance to all place of interest in Reykjavik. Excellent breakfast!

The parking was not great, but I guess this is to be expected in cities. If you have a rental car, be prepared to look for/pay for parking separate from the hotel fees, but this is not a problem if you don't have a car and have no plans to leave Reykjavik during your stay.

The beds were comfy, the breakfast was amazing, the staff was nice and accommodating, facilities were clean and modern. We struggled to find the mini-fridge, but we enjoyed our stay and would come back. Most of the city is a short walk to anything in the city.

Rooms are very comfortable and charming, but a little "quirky" as you might expect from a retrofitted historic house. Nevertheless, it was quite comfortable. But as I mentione above, this would not a good place for families with kids.

Absolutely DRIPPING with charm and history, this place is a fantastic find in Reykjavik. Smack in the middle of every thing any tourist would want. The town is ultra-walkable as it is, but this place is particularly well located and down a charming little alley.

Only 3 tv stations..poor reception made it difficult to watch some channels.

Perfect location in downtown, great staff, very clean, early check in was available for red eye flight.
