The room was a little smaller than other hotels we stayed in Iceland but I guess this is to be expected in the city.

Excellent location for exploring Reykjavik (although a little far to walk if the weather is bad) Comfortable bed, nice view (we were on the 7th floor). Nice breakfast choice. Very cool theming throughout the hotel.

Bathroom sink was really tiny, workable but awkward!

Breakfast was nice, good selection. Having it included was great since it is very expensive to eat in Iceland! Beds were comfortable, hotel was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was good, we had a rental car. Parking garage in the back was very helpful and included!

It was hard to shower and not get water in the area between the shower and the sink.

Breakfast food was excellent with many choices and frequent replenishing. The staff was pleasant and efficient. The area was very clean. Our room worked well for three people and was functional and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Excellent hotel with a view of the ice-covered mountains. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was travelling with my 12-year-old son and had to catch an early morning flight. The gentleman at the reception asked my son if he wanted a hot chocolate and then went on to make him a cup of hot chocolate just because it was cold outside a child would probably be hungry once he got to the airport. Real personal touch.

    - Curtains in room a bit too short, at least for my specific room - While the hotel was a little bit out of town, it was still within walking distance if you really want to walk, took me around 40 minutes, bus is about 20 minutes

    - Breakfast option was excellent, as my flight arrived very early, the team even said I could have a tea or coffee. - Close to ATM, like 100m - Close to bus stop - Very accommodating for early checkout since allot of the flights depart very early, as I had a shuttle pickup at 3AM, they offer you tea/coffee and a croissant or if you want to pay then there is the full breakfast offer.

Rooms are a little on the small side but its manageable for one night stay.

Location was in good proxiomity to the city where we went for dinner. There are nearby restaurants though. Breakfast was great spread of items. Room cleanliness was fantastic and the staff were very polite and helpful. Like all of Iceland, the rooms and the building was well heated.

More hot food would be useful.

A hotel worth recommending in a good location. The lobby staff was very helpful, especially Marta (very nice, helpful and tolerant) and Dominika and Rakel, very nice people. Breakfast was tasty, but more hot food would be useful. We recommend it 100%. Clean rooms. Coffee and tea available in the rooms. :)

Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Until the 5.30am breakfast which we were told was complimentary. Coffee, croissants and an apple. Everything was perfect until then. Not enough until you get to your destination.

Perfect location. Rooms had everything you needed. Even got to see the spectacular fireworks display across Reykjavík.

The only negative was how far it was from downtown Reykjavik. It was a 20 minute walk down a rather busy road, which would have been absolutely fine but for the fact it was November so it was dark and the wind was brutal. Not a dig on the hotel, though, as that was more my not understanding what was where in the area.

The hotel is typically Scandinavian/Icelandic spartan style but incredibly comfortable. The breakfast had lots of tasty options and the staff was very helpful. There is a fantastic pizza place right outside the door of the hotel I would highly recommend. We didn't think we would want pizza in Iceland, but we also didn't feel like walking more after a long day and were extremely glad we tried it.

It was a bit far out of town which was only an issue for shopping and a wider choice of restaurants , aside from that it was actually pleasant to be away from the hustle and bustle of town

Staff were friendly, decor appealing, clean with enough space to open our very large suitcases. I loved the view from our room.
