It was our first stop visiting the Westfjords in April 2024. Exiting Route 60 is absolutely worth it. The house is in a fantastic location with a wonderful view, thanks to the large windows. We were lucky enough to be alone and have all the space to ourselves, a large living room and a comfortable kitchen. Highly recommended!

It's very beautiful and comfortable in an easy accessible area of the southern part of the Westfjords. The nature surrounding the place is absolutely beautiful. There's a nice living room and kitchen too. The rooms are comfortable.

Something unclear about the swimming pool, not sure if it was included or not. Just out of curiosity.

Bathroom could get more care. Communication might be a bit better as we had no clue which room is ours and had to ask other guests for information.

Beautiful location nearly in the middle of nowhere. House is older and so is the appliance, however everything worked fine and gave us a retro feel. Dining area has wonderful views to surroundings. Kitchen was full of kitchenware, basic spices, oil, coffee. It is close to Reykhólar where you can buy the best icelandic salt from Nordur.

I think one bathroom for 4 rooms is perhaps too few. Ideally there could be a separation between bathroom and shower

The setting is serene, just beautiful. It's very quiet, and an extremely good deal (at least when I booked it). Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, good bed, and very little light pollution for the northern lights

I didn't like the soundproofing, because you can hear everything and it feels like the other guests are inside your room.

The area was very good, we also saw the northern lights because there were no lights. The kitchen the bathroom and room were clean and beautiful. Also, because of the windows the view was beautiful and you can see the sea as well, a very cozy and nice hostel.

Warm host. The guesthouse is in a quiet place, with an amazing view. A cozy place far from the main roads.

The walls are so thin that you can hear everything in the house when you're in the room. The decor is also a little old-fashioned. But otherwise, everything else is fine.

Very well placed for visiting the northern fjords or as a transition between the fjords and Snaefelsness Peninsula. And clean. For those who like peace and quiet, want to see the Northern Lights and are not looking for something sophisticated, this is perfect!

Only one bathroom (shower and toilet behind the same door) for 4 rooms, so you might have to wait a long time until it’s your turn. The check-in was weird - the door was open, nobody there and we didn’t know which room we could go into, so we needed to wait 30min until we could go into our room.
