I did not dislike anything. It was basic but very comfortable, very friendly and overall very good.

Loved the pool and hot tub. Lovely situated in a slightly remote valley, it serves well as a starting point to explore the Westfjords.

While the dining room is open 24h and there are options to get the boiled water, it's not optimal that you'd need to walk in the middle of the night to the dining room. It would probably make sense to have a small kettler in the room.

The hotel occupies a building which previously was a local school. The rooms were newly renowated and clean. There is a natural hot spring outside but it's small. The swimming pool is bigger and nicely warm. Staff were friendly and very engaged. Food was very tasty (we had a dinner and a breakfast).

A charming small hotel very close to the town of Holmavik. We only spent one night there but it was enough to realize that it was a total success. Beautiful, clean, comfortable and with incredibly friendly staff. Like all hotels, we arrived late after a long day of touring the west fjords. The dining room was about to close but they were kind enough to wait until we had dinner to close it. Details like this make a difference. Thank you always for such a good experience.

The sink in Room 24 doesn't drain and needs to be unclogged.

Although the pool was lovely, it was the BUFFET DINNER that was over the top. Congratulations to all staff for a delicious presentation of both dinner and breakfast. We felt very comfortable at the hotel and enjoyed it tremendously. Thank you..

Very friendly welcome, great room with windows on two sides overlooking a wide landscape. We even had a view of the swimming pool and sorcerer's cottage. Very quiet. They cooked a buffet dinner for their guests which was absolutely fantastic, best dinner we had on our entire trip.

For anyone visiting the Northwest area of Iceland, this place was just beautiful. The idea of an outdoor pool, heated by a hot spring, and a smaller hot spring beside it was just a wonderful experience. A major plus was we did not have to pay much, unlike other properties, to use the pool. Breakfast was included in the price and was wonderful. I would recommend the dinner choice where you could sample all the delicious food. I'd love to live there :)

Amazing scenic location. Remote and quiet.The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated with a big comfortable lounge room. There is also a sports hall with various games available. We had a good size room with great views of the valley and mountains. The beds were soft but comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a very good shower. Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. There is unlimited tea/coffee available in the breakfast room (not in rooms). There is also a large pool and small warm spring available (additional cost of 800ISK per person. Overall the best accommodation we have stayed in during our tour so far.

It was a little noisier than I like (could hear the voices of others), and I found the shared bathrooms/showers dark and small for my liking.

The pools were great! The beds were comfortable with good quality duvets! Breakfast was a good offering and there was plenty!

After paying a little fortune for 1 night stay, we had to additionally pay for the pool which I thought that it should have been included in the room price. I understood that is a public pool but it should be charged only for people who don´t stay in the hotel and would like to use only the pool.

Breakfast and dinner were good. Very delicious food but expensive. The pool was big and very nice. The water could have been a bit more warm.
