The rooms were very small and plain, also not many available outlets. The room was decent for the price though.

The address of the hostel provided in Booking was not accurate and that made the drive in the dense fog rather stressful. The provided phone number is not correct.

an oasis of life in the middle of nature. Friendly and helpful staff, not only informed about the local rules, but also gave a lot of advice about the condition of the hike and the surrounding roads. Thermal baths are a great way to relax. Thank you!

The location was excellent, in a peaceful place under the mountains and glacier. The staff were very friendly, they even rang a bell when the Aurora Borealis was visible. Spacious rooms. The hot tubes outside. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel has been transferred by a old farm. It missed isolation between the rooms. We can hear the guests' talking. But Hot springs is very nice.

Cozy Flair of a mountain hut (not a typical hotel), lots of wood, clean. Location of course great, in the middle of nature, nice walks around, hot pools a great addition. (paid extra) dinner was tasty, a Buffett.

Perfect place to sleep over and continue your road, room was clean, big enough for 5 people and ofcourse, pool was nice. Host is very welcoming and called if we want something to eat at evening. Good experience.

Pricepoint was really good, we booked the family room since the 3 of us wanted to share a room so we had a choice of 6 beds to choose from. Place was clean, good facilites outside and the natural hot tubs were a really nice touch! Would definitely stay here again.

Really nice place with hot pots, we arrived a little bit earlier, that was no problem at all, we got some nice tips to hike. We didn’t use the offer for dinner or breakfast. Room was a little bit tiny but for one night okay.

The room is to the Minimum reduced so there are just to tiny separate beds Bit for two days it was ok.

We had a great time in Laugarfell and it was a nice break from the daily life. We had an extraordinary time thanks to the gentle staff from Greece, especially Nicolas.

We stayed early in the season and there was some maintanance work happening. It did not have a major impact on our stay, but it might be a good idea to fix stuff around the house before opening it for guests. Also the restrooms were not well equipped with paper towels, soap and toilet paper and most of the trash cans were already full.

Nice, clean, and comfortable rooms. The two hot pots are just great and offer an amazing view after hiking through Iceland's nature. Make sure to hike the waterfall circle, when you stay here, it is just awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did not book any breakfast or dinner, but we saw it in the common area and it looked and smelled great.

Even though we did not pre-book dinner, we got a very tasty dinner on demand, which is not usual for this location. Very kind personnel, calm location, good rules about taking off shoes. The hot tubs are just great. Very good breakfast.

it’s only my personal preference, however I wish the Hot Springs were a little more hot. I had come in on a very cloudy/misty night and was excited to jump in the pool, but it was luke warm and wasn’t quite enough to beat the chill of the night. only directly above the vents was there increased temperature. anyway, that’s all.

I love the location, staff is very friendly and helpful. rooms were spotless and beds were comfy, breakfast was good too
