A bit away if you want to dine somewhere else. The steps into the hot tub are very slippery even though they have some anti slip, I still manage to fall and hurt myself.

Clean and spacious rooms. Bed comfy. Quiet surroundings cause you are in the countryside, views great 👍 Nice staff. Breakfast good, warm new baked bread! Loved the sauna.

Nothing. The design and location are quite remote, stark and stunning. Drinks and meals are very expensive but similar to / on par with other high end Iceland bars and restaurants.

Breakfast is buffet style - both hot and cold / chilled options are available. All freshly prepared and well presented. Really good quality and included in our booking price. Bread was freshly baked and a little bit too nice for my waistline. Zero complaints - compliments only. Evening meals are from a fairly limited menu but the quality is fantastic (if expensive). Rooms are best described as quirky style with a concrete, wood and tubular steel modern design. Very comfortable, clean and well presented. Room calls for any visible aurora (regular) are optional. Dark skies make the spectacle more vivid.

Brand new hotel in a remote area. We were able to see the Northern Lights on a low activity night. Even though the description said breakfast was not included when we booked, we were told on arrival that breakfast was included. The hotel itself was very nice and modern.

The hotel was excellent, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, I felt like the team went above and beyond to make you feel at home. Magnus, the hotel manager was extremely helpful throughout our stay, he even helped us plan our days, giving us maps and suggestions for other sites to see. They called our room when the northern lights were out, that was helpful.

The only minor negative was at breakfast where we were waiting for over 10 minutes for hot food to be replaced when it had run out.

This is a brilliant hotel if your goal is to see the northern lights. It is about 10 miles outside of Hella so there is almost no light pollution nearby. The hotel also has a TV in the lobby area covering the sky so you can see when the northern lights are visible. There is plenty of free parking outside the hotel. The room is functional rather than luxurious, but the bed was comfy and the shower was great.

Not the property’s fault, our neighbours in the room next door were really loud. They were on the phone up until midnight talking to someone on speaker phone. It was difficult as we were woken from our sleep.

Its location, it was lovely to escape into the wilderness and quiet. The hotel and the surrounding location is so picturesque. The breakfast was superb The service at reception was excellent Loved the games room for pool. Darts and the gym availability.

The restaurant offers a breakfast that leaves much to be desired especially for a “luxury” hotel. The hot tub is outside of the hotel so in the winter months you need to walk out before getting into the “igloo” where the hot tub is.
