Does get a little hot during the night in May. No views, also quite noisy at night since we were on the ground floor.

We stayed in the quadrant family room. There was a Queen/ King bunk bed. The beds were surprisingly big and with tall head space! We love the vibe of the hotel, very energetic.

it was very hard to find the entrance to the hotel, fortunately we had a terrific bus driver who at 4am drove us around to the door.

Breakfast was amazing, the property was quirky in a fun way, seems very popular as it was very busy in the dining area. We overlooked the road, our friends overlooked the harbor, theirs of course was much more scenic, but no complaints.

Nothing I can think of. I had a wonderful stay.

The rooms were perfect for a single person. A couple could share a room, but it would be tight. For American travelers, I would recommend one room per person, as we did, and it was perfect. The location is beautiful, with free parking behind the hotel. Downtown is a few minutes' walk. Many restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Every person at the front desk and the restaurant was friendly. Special shout out to Daniel at the front desk who was incredibly patient with our questions about places to visit each day. The buffet breakfast was good, and cost about $30 per person. A bit expensive, but not much more than good hotels in the US charge, and it is understandable for Iceland. There are less expensive options within walking distance, but the convenience and the spread made this worth the price.

We were in a road facing room so it bit noisy but that can’t be helped.

The property was in a great position .. easy walking around most of the town. Flyover Iceland was a 15min walk away. Bus Stop 15 (for any excursion pickups) was right near the hotel. Staff were friendly & helpful.

There was not anything I did not like.

Staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect for a couple, even though kind of small by US standards. Very comfortable bed, efficient bathroom, and everything was clean. Our room was overlooking the harbor and the water. Breakfast was plentiful, with wide variety of items to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Reykjavik.

Our room faced the street so it was a bit noisy due to the traffic. However, I believe that would not be an issue with the marina view room.

Great location, right in the marina, close to many tour companies, restaurants and the city center. The room was clean and big enough for 2 people to be comfortable. It also had a coffee maker, a safe and a mini fridge, which was nice. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Easy location: few minutes walk from central Reykjavik, and the whale cruises leave literally in front of the hotel (airport bus stop is also located in the next block). Extremely helpful staff: always answering my questions, sharing tips, looking into things upon my request and making bookings on my behalf! Breakfast exceeded my expectations: something for everyone. The hotel has a busy, but cozy buzz with lots of common spaces, bar/restaurant and apparently some events as well, for example. Very big room and bathroom, and appreciated the nespresso type coffee machine in the room :) Thanks for the stay!

The room can get a bit of traffic noise in the morning if you don't have a harbour facing room but nothing that would disturb you too much. The view is better over looking the harbour though.

Great location for the harbour to catch the early morning whale watching trips. Some nice restaurants around the harbour area which is a two minute walk and only a further 10 minutes into the town for shops bars and more restaurant choices. The hotel bar is nice for an evening drink, dinner or lunch. Breakfast is the usual hotel buffet but tasty and adequate.
