There was stains on the bed linens. I would recommend bringing your own bed linens sheets and slippers as there is bo slippers available there.

The location is amazing, very spacious, the price is worthy.

Just two points, which definitely didn’t spoil our stay but could perhaps be sorted some way to make it even better. The blinds are not adequate as they only cover the bottom half of the windows - fine in the dark months but not good in the summer when it really doesn’t get dark at all. Yes, there are eye masks available but they’re small, uncomfortable and don’t keep the light out properly. When you wake in the morning the first thing you’ll want to do is raise the blinds to look at the amazing views but at night most will probably need darkness to feel tired. The shower is lovely..great water pressure but unfortunately leaks (clearly this has been ongoing for some time by the looks of the wooden floor) it’s a simple fix job to grout the inside of the cubical which would sort it out. Otherwise the towels are needed to mop up the pools of water each time. Again, definitely didn’t spoil our stay, just seems a shame for the floor to be getting damaged by lack of a simple fix.

beautiful cabin, totally relaxing, well equipped and in a great location. The views are amazing and the hot tub fantastic! We cooked each evening, the kitchen all works well and the supermarket in Selfoss was an easy stop before arriving at the cabin. It’s cozy, romantic and a pretty special place

This was an amazing place to stay but it lacked a few home comforts such as kitchen tea towels, a little starter pack of kitchen products etc. It would also be good to have some extra towels for the hot spring. We were snowed in whilst we were there so a shovel on-site would have been a major help. There was also a couple of issues with the facilities, the fireplace didn’t really work and the shower leaks into the bedroom. BUT, still an amazing place to stay and these did not detract from the experience… with a couple of tweaks it could be perfect!

A stunning cabin in a beautiful location, the property is finished to a very high standard. The views were unbelievable. We felt very remote but it’s actually conveniently located only 20 minutes from Selfoss, which is a beautiful little town.

The only tiny thing was that the step in the hot tub to help you get in and out was very slippery, so we had to be careful there but it didn’t hamper how much we enjoyed staying here at all.

The whole cabin was beautiful, we loved the design and big windows and the hot tub was the best place to start and end our days. It was so quiet and peaceful too, you could hear birdsong and that was it!

Everything was perfect. No small detail was left unattended and this was an amazing experience. From the outside hot tub to waking up to such an outstanding view, this was one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

We rented this property partially because it had a fire place and we thought we will have a fabulous New year's atmosphere there. But disappointingly the fire never worked due strong wind and differences of the temperature (according to the hostess). Iceland is a cold country and gets windy quite often, so don't really understand what's the point of having a gas fire if it never works.

The place was very lovely, looked new and with a great design. Good location for those who wants to do Golden circle, Selfoss town is not far either.

only thing I can pick at was the road to and from the property, the snow was so deep that we could barely see it and we got the car stuck when we arrived.

this property is absolutely amazing, nicely secluded and very peaceful. beautiful finished and well equipped. the hot tub was also beautiful. to top off an amazing trip we even got to see the northern lights. we will definitely be returning in the future

The place was amazing, we have all the commodities there, it was quiet, hot tube in a snowed landscape, amazing views....nothing more to ask for. I do recommend this place and definitely I will go there again.

The shower is unusable, the way it is designed allows for water to escape the shower cube. Water flows freely from the shower into the bedroom. Wifi is extremely unstable, leading to persistent outages. We booked for three nights, but my wife and I had to leave after two because I need the wifi for work and this wifi had too many outages. Property owner was apathetic to my situation.

The location is fantastic, secluded but close enough to Selfoss that you can get gas grocery etc.. Extremely clean and comfortable bed and couch. View is beautiful. Furniture is top of the line.

…the facilities aren’t thought-through tho. The shower (even a quick one) leaks all the way to the couch. There isn’t a floor heating (or possibility to turn it off yourself during the summer) to dry out the floor from that or after using the inside tub. An army of midges don’t let you use outdoor tub unless it’s raining or cold. No space to hide the luggage. We really enjoyed our quick stay, but few smaller fixes could make it so much more enjoyable and practical long-term

The view is fantastic, feeling is remote and the whole place is very stylish and 360-degree instagrammable
