The rooms were much more spacious than expected and very well cleaned & kept. Bed was comfortable. Cleaning staff get Five Stars !!! All staff were friendly. The restaurant was very nice. Breakfast & dinner were very good.

This was one of the nicest places we stayed on our 11 day trip! The rooms (& bathroom!) were extra roomy, super clean, and beautiful! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and dinner at the restaurant was excellent. We loved that we could visit a natural hot spring just down and off the road--definitely worth doing.

The linen design was a little harsh for the face, but I could sleep very tight anyway 😴

After a very difficult road and weather conditions we finally reached the hotel. Staff very friendly, cozy atmosphere and having the gas station and the restaurant there also a plus!! Breakfast was OK, bread very tasty!

We loved staying here! We had an amazing view from our room which was spacious and modern. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view…and robes were provided to use for the nearby thermal pool. The food at the restaurant was good, there was a nice selection for breakfast and the staff was lovely. There is also a nice hiking trail that leads up from behind the hotel.

We had expected a more open view on a fjord, but should probably have explicitly requested this. The place felt a bit bland, did not really leave much of an impression.

The location was nice. A good starting point to discover the West Fjords. Very nice view from our room. The bathroom was very modern and the bed very comfortable.

Best place we stayed so far in Iceland; would highly recommend it after taking the ferry to the Westfjhords..beautiful view with a rapids into a beautiful bay..nice large room and shower..comfy bed...good breakfast and excellent options for dinner..very friendly and helpful staff..

Best hotel we stayed in during our two week's traveling around Iceland! The rooms were great as was the breakfast. The dinner menu was limited, but the food was good. The staff were terrific.

Water pressure in the bathroom a little bit weak.

Lack of a mini fridge.

Hotel Flokalundur is a very nice hotel on the main road around the Westfjord area of Iceland. It's in a beautiful location with one of the best natural thermal pools, just a short walk down the road and right by the ocean. The room was very nice and clean, fairly large with a big bathroom. We did miss having a minifridge for the food we had with us. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. With breakfast included, it was a fair value for Iceland. We recommend staying here.
