The restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast was fit for a king, complete with smoked trout, fresh, warm homemade breads, and jams. Dinner choices were wide, varied, and healthy. Lovely locally caught trout with many sauce options. The chocolate cake with a drizzle of blueberry cognac was scrumptious. Some of the best nights sleep that I've had thanks to the high quality beds. But the absolute best part of all was Stella, the proprietor who insured that we were happy and well cared for.

Very charming property! It has an indoor pool, hot tub, and outdoor hot spring. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. It felt cozy and had a beautiful view. Our favorite part was the friendly farm cat that came to visit us. Very friendly people. I would recommend to anyone to stay here.

Room was a bit chilly with no thermostat. I think it’s more a place for families with small children as there were a lot of children running around. Difficult to access the hotel in the bad weather we experienced.

We really wanted to see the Northern Lights, however the weather decided otherwise. I would definitely suggest to plan better once you get there to figure out the best time to see them.

It was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed the people there. Just be prepared for walking around the property as horses roam around the property and there is poop in walking paths, so make sure you bring shoes that are easily cleanable. They were great people and cook delicious food.

The accomodations and establishment are very nice. The whole feeling of this place is very unique. It's not just a place where the views are amazing, but also a farm where you can see horses and also 2 very nice dogs. You have a hot sprint outside and inside. We've been in Iceland 3 times and here we ate the best food from all the places. This guesthouse is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. I will not be surprised if in the future people will visit the west fjords only to stay here. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you so much for having us. Wished we stayed longer!

The walls are quite thin, so if you have other guests that are a bit inconsiderate, it might be a bit loud at night.

The place is very nice and the nature beautiful. The hosts are more than kind and the overall impression is warm and welcoming. We sat in the hot tub at night looking at the starts and the northern lights. The dogs are cute and the cats love to cuddle. Perfekt for people who love animals. We also had dinner there, the food was really good! It was like in a 4-stars restaurant, absolutely worth it.

Very nice place! Great room, very comfortable beds! There is also a nice restaurant at the place with great food. Loved the greenhouse with the swimming pool. A big plus, the two dogs and the parrot that are at the place ❤

This is the hotel I like most in Iceland. Lovely staff, clean rooms with space and private bathrooms, excellent restaurant and breakfast, relaxing hot tubs and pools : everything you can wish for. Also, the location is great to visit the west fjords.

Absolutely amazing experience! Indoor swimming pool inside a greenhouse. Hot springs outside and we didn’t even have chance to go to the narural one. It’d be perfect for whole weekend.

We loved our stay here! Being an old farm was charming, with a lovely view, and we loved visiting the horses. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip--bread and cheese were amazing, and homemade jellys/jams- all were so so good! (We got in extra late, so didn't end up eating dinner, but it sure smelled good when we checked in.) The rooms were comfortable and the heated floor was a bonus. A late night swim and soak in the 2 hot tubs (one outside) was relaxing and we loved the fun location in the greenhouse/old barn--and we did use the rope swing ;)!! My only disappointment was that our morning was extra windy, so we didn't brave the rocks to cross to the natural hot spring up the hill, but that couldn't be helped and we loved our stay!

No ability to control temperature in the room; I paid extra for a Superior Room because the hotel indicated these rooms "offer the best view of the surroundings" - I was surprised to find that (in spite of beautiful surroundings in many directions) my room had very large windows viewing a parking lot with bright lights. The property is excellent value overall - I'd have happily paid the price I did and would return again - but was frustrated with the misleading marketing.

This is a beautiful property in a scenic location; Large comfortable room, absolutely beautiful grounds and pool/hot springs, hands down the best meal I ate in Iceland (I would travel substantially out of my way to eat at their restaurant again); friendly owners/staff who went out of their way to be helpful

The room had no visible way to adjust the temperature and opening the windows did not provide enough air flow to cool the room. The breakfast buffet was good but needed more protein and options like hot oatmeal, etc. They didn't have ear plugs available for guests.

The hotel was nicely situated in the Westfjords and had a nice restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We really enjoyed the different pools and hot pots with varying temperatures. They seemed to have several trails to a lake, a waterfall and the property in general is nice to explore. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

It is a lovely place with a pleasant valley and river view. The staff is amicable, and the welcome is excellent. Even the bird at the desk is saying "hello". The diner's food is delicious, as well as the breakfast. Let's try the cod liver oil flavoured with lemon in the morning! The hot baths are great in a greenhouse, but you can also find others crossing the river in a wilder area.

Don't miss having a meal. The restaurant is delicious. The owner provided us with wonderful recommendations for places to visit on our journey. We took full advantage of the pool rope swing and zip line and we are not young. This place is a playground and it is epically beautiful. We really enjoyed the geothermal pools on the grounds.
